| Background:A large number of epidemiological studies have found that exposure to PM2.5 both long-time and short-time would lead to a significant increases in cardiovascular events.Also a lot of laboratory studies of animal and healthy populations have confirmed inflammatory factors in serum such as TNF-alpha,IL-2,IL-8 and ICAM-1 levels would significant increase after exposureing to PM 2.5.It is widely believed that the increase of inflammatory factor expression after inhaling PM2.5 is the main mechanism leading to incidence of cardiovascular events rising.Objectives:The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of PM2.5on serum levels of tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin-2,interleukin-8 and intercellular adhesion molecule-1 in cardiovascular patients,Different concentrations of PM 2.5were different from the level of expression of inflammatory markers in cardiovascular patients,and to compare impacts of different concentrations of PM 2.5 on cardiovascular patients.And by discussing the possible mechanisms of damage of PM2.5to the cardiovascular system and the role of leading to atherosclerosis of inflammatory cytokinesleading above,provide some theoretical support to treat atherosclerosis with immunosuppressive drugs.Methods:A total of 92 patients with cardiovascular disease admitted to our hospital are included.Collect the patients’ neutrophils count,monocyte count,lymphocyte count,platelet count,fibrinoid quantification,haemal creatinine and glutamate.Measure the levels of serum TNF-α,IL-2,IL-8 and ICAM-1 in all patients.And record the PM2.5 concentrations of the day every patient admitted to hospital.According to the PM2.5concentrations,divide all patients into low pollution naming group A,mild pollution group naming group B and serious pollution group naming group C.Finally analyze data with SPSS17.0.Results:The levels of serum TNF-α,IL-2,IL-8 and ICAM-1 among group A,group B and group C are different significantly(P<0.05).The levels of serum TNF-α and IL-8 in group C are higher than group A and group B(P<0.017).The levels of serum IL-2 and ICAM-1 are higher than group B(P<0.017).The Lymphocyte count in group C is higher than group B(P<0.017).The fibrinoid quantification in group C is higher tha n group A(P<0.017).Conclusion:Exposuring to PM2.5 may significantly increase the lymp hocyte,fibrinogen,TNF-α,IL-2,IL-8 and ICAM-1 levels in cardiovascular patients.The higger PM2.5 concentration,the more plsma inflamm atory cytokinesleadings.Only a certain concentration PM2.5 could have a significant effect on the inflammatory cytokinesleadings in cardio vascular patients. |
