The Study Of The Correlation Between The Common Syndrome Of TCM And CD4~+T Subgroup In HIV Carrier

Objective: We discussed the correlation between the common syndrome of TCM(deficiency of qi and yin,and deficiency of wet resistance)and CD4~+T subgroup in HIV carrier through this study.Methods: We collected 88 patients from the follow-up visited AIDS outpatient service,and then screened out 32 patients.Half of the 32 patients were discriminated as the deficiency of qi and yin by the doctor of traditional Chinese medicine and the other as deficiency of wet resistance,whom did not treat by HARRT and the traditional Chinese medicine.We collected the morning serum of these patients as the case group.Then we screened out 6 subjects who were healthy without HIV and other infectious and immune diseases.We collected the morning serum of these subjects as the control group.We detected the cytokine IFN-?,IL-4,IL-10 and IL-17 of all the participants by the technology of BD CBA.Results: In HIV carriers,the deficiency of wet resistance group was lower than the deficiency of qi and yin group in CD4~+T cell count and the difference was obvious.There were obvious differences of the cytokine IFN-? and IL-10 between the deficiency of qi and yin group and the deficiency of wet resistance group in HIV carrier(P<0.05).It is still a difference of the cytokine IL-4 and IL-17 between two groups,although it did not reach a statistical significance.It illustrated that the unbalance Th1/Th2 of the deficiency of wet resistance was even more serious than the unbalance Th1/Th2 of the deficiency of the qi and yin.The unbalance Th17/Treg of the qi and yin was even more serious than the unbalance Th17/Treg of the deficiency of wet resistance.Besides,this study had found that the serum cykokine of IFN-? and IL-17 are positive correlation in HIV carriers and they have a close relation with disease progression.Conclusion: This study stated that the HIV virus could affect the distribution of CD4~+T subgroup.The unbalance of Th1/Th2 and Th17/Treg was different in deficiency of qi and yin and deficiency of wet resistance in HIV carrier.It was a obvious correlation between the common syndrome of TCM(deficiency of qi and yin,and deficiency of wet resistance)and CD4~+T subgroup in HIV carrier.
