Investigation Of Human Papillomavirus Related Knowledge And Infection Among MSM

Objectives: To investigate human papillomavirus related knowledge,virus infection and its influencing factors of MSM in Urumqi city,and provide a theoretical basis for the control of the HPV infection.Methods: The study design a cross-sectional survey in two NGO in Xinjiang,Urumqi city as the research site,from April 2016 to October 2016,recruiting 500 HIV negative MSM,collecting demographic and behavioral information,HPV related knowledge and HPV vaccination intention through the questionnaire survey,collecting the perianal exfoliated cells of type 37 HPV genotyping for HPV infection,chi square test,logistics regression to analysis the influence factors of HPV vaccination intention and HPV infection.Results: 258 of the 500 MSM had heard of HPV,the most important way for the MSM to know HPV was the network;the correct rate of the knowledge about the HPV infection of the 500 MSM was 12.8%~83.0%.500 MSM to free vaccine inoculation accounted for 95.3%,willing to receive the vaccine at their own expense accounted for 68.6%,free vaccine acceptance rate was significantly higher than that of the vaccine at their own expense acceptance rate,education are the influence factors of HPV vaccination willingness,university or above and have college degree are more likely to pay for HPV vaccine(OR=2.747,95%CI:1.588~4.752;OR=2.594,95%CI: 1.582~4.254),have a history of STIs are more willing to pay for their HPV vaccine(OR=1.858,95%CI:1.249~ 4.020).The HPV infection rate was 51.8% in all the patients with MSM,and the high risk HPV infection rate was 23.6%,the low risk HPV infection rate was,the most common high-risk type of HPV was HPV16 and HPV51,the most common low-risk type HPV was HPV6 and HPV11.Sexual behavior to be inserted is the main risk factors of MSM infection of HPV(OR=1.847,95%CI: 1.278~2.669),"men are not infected with HPV" the correct cognition is a protective factor for MSM infection of HPV(OR=0.421,95%CI:0.199~0.890);have been to university is dangerous factor of MSM infection in high-risk HPV(OR=2.002,95%CI:1.070~3.744),never drinking is a protective factor for MSM infection in high-risk HPV(OR=0.516,95%CI:0.270~0.987);have a history of STIs is a risk factor for MSM infection with low-risk type HPV(OR=1.919,95%CI:1.468~2.814).Conclusion: Urumqi MSM HPV awareness and cognitive response rate were in the general level,HPV vaccination at their own expense willingness higher,the infection rate of HPV at a high level in China,the future of MSM infection of sexually transmitted disease prevention education should be strengthen the HPV,prompting MSM to master more HPV relevant knowledge,and convert it to the behavior to prevent HPV infection,reduce the incidence of high-risk sexual behavior,exploring a HPV vaccine promotion strategy of higher receive degree.
