The Clinical Effect Of Preventive Use Of Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump In High-Risk Patients Undergoing Off-Pump Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting

Objective:To study the clinical effect of preventive use of intra-aortic balloon pump(IABP)in high-risk patients undergoing off-pump coronary artery bypass(OPCAB).Method:30 patients with a high SinoSCORE(?6 points)were enrolled in our study.They were divided into two groups,group A and group B.In group A,15 patients were preoperatively implanted with IABP.Meanwhile,in group B,15 patients intraoperatively and postoperatively implanted with IABP.Result:Compared with group B,group A had a shorter IABP support time(78.66±28.83 vs.207.80±132.92h),shorter ventilator assistance time(36.86±35.13 vs.144.13±180.25h),shorter positive inotropic drugs assistance time(119.86±42.73 vs.296.66±191.84h),shorter ICU time(69.06±42.90 vs.250.93±232,84h),shorter postoperative hospital stay(10.73±2.49 vs.20.40±17.26d),a less hospital cost(201321.29±37240.54 vs.271071.89±105901.14yuan)and a lower postoperative complications(13.3%vs.60.0%);Additionally,no significantly differences in number of grafts(3.86±0.91 vs.4.26±0.96),postoperative drainage(1141.33±448.12 vs.1433.33±802.70ml)and 30 days hospital mortality(6.7%vs.20.0%)between group A and group B.Conclusion:For high-risk patients with OPCAB,preoperative IABP insertion is a safe and effective measure.
