| Objective:To investigate the diagnosis and teaching application of the 3D printing technology in the foot and ankle fracture,and to assess its clinic effects.Methods:We collected X-rays and images of CT and CT three dimensional reconstruction of 40 patients with fracture of the foot and ankle in the GuiGang City People’s hospital,included pilon fracture in 10 cases,calcaneus fracture in 12 cases,ankle fracture in 18 cases.We used Mimics software to 3D reconstruction,virtual surgery design,and 3D printing.We selected 30 residents who received the standardized training of surgery in our hospital,and seperated them into experimental group and control group.The control group used the conventional multimedia-assisted teaching,while the experimental group used the conventional multimedia-assisted combined 3D printing technology.We compared the two groups in the academic performance and self-assessment of mixed ability.Results:1.The collected questionnaires show that the experimental group outscored the control group in self-rating(included overall evaluation,teaching method evaluation,the degree of master knowledge,self-learning ability,communication ability,concentration,practice experience and learning efficiency)(P<0.01);The examination score show that the experimental group significantly outscored the control group in theoretical knowledge,practice skills and case analysis(P<0.01).Both have statistical difference.2.There was statistical significance(X-ray,the CT three dimension reconstruction and 3D printing technology of senior and young group P<0.05).The accuracy of the 3 imaging diagnosis increases one after another.And 3D printing technology could reflect the fracture more clearly.Conclusion:1.Teaching application for the foot and ankle fracture combined 3D printing technology,not only can offset the shortcomings of the conventional teaching,but also arouse the residents’ enthusiasms about learning professional knowledge,reduced the difficulty,shorten the learning curve,and raised the effectiveness of teaching.2.3D printing technology can let the doctors get the any angle,all-around,direct observation of the fracture position relations.And also make doctors get more comprehensive information from the images. |
