Objective:This study aimed to explore the level of betatrophin in patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS)and healthy controls. And according to the result of coronary angiography,we evaluate the severity of coronary artery lesion through Gensini score,to analyze the correlation between betatrophin and Gensini score.Method:1.This study included 90 patients who underwent the coronary angiography during Oct 2015 to Dec 2016 of the cardiovascular department of Yijishan Hospital of Wannan Medical College.According to the corresponding diagnostic criteria, they were divided into 2 groups:63 patients with ACS and 27 patients without ACS.The ACS group included ST segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI),non ST segment elevation myocardial infarction(NSTEMI),unstable angina(UA).All patients underwent coronary angiography during hospitalization and then calculated Gensini score.Determination of serum betatrophin concentration by double antibody sandwich enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).At the same time, the data of general condition were recorded and the fasting blood biochemical and other parameters were measured, which included triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),high-density lipoprotein(HDL),low-density lipoprotein(LDL),Apo-A1,APOB,LPa,creatinine(Scr),uric acid(UA).So that we can analyze the relationship between betatrophin and ACS.2.We used SPSS 17.0 softwate to analyze the data. The measured data with normal distribution are expressed as mean + standard deviation.T test was used to compare between two groups.Single factor analysis of variance was used to compare multiple groups means.Count data groups were analyzed using percentage chi-square test.P<0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: 1.Analysis of clinical indicators and general data. The study included 90 patiens among which 29 cases were in control group and 61 in ACS group. The age distribution of this study was 36~84 years old, including 56 males(62.22%)and 34 females(37.78%).Comparing blood biochemical testing results, the results showed that there was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05)among the CON group and ACS group in hypertion?BMI?SP?DP?UA?TC?TG?HDL?LDL?Apo-A1?APO-B?LPa.EF(59.21±9.09% vs 66.48±5.29%)were significantly lower in the ACS group than the CON group.Age(65.03±11.59 vs 59.45±11.00)?Scr(83.68±44.11umol/L vs 68.06±17.94umol/L)? Lpa(156.83±154.95mg/Lvs 278.12±267.86mg/L)?betatrophin(405.52±135.49pg/m L vs 274.15±94.70 pg/m L)were significantly higher in the ACS group than the CON group(P<0.01).And we found that EF ?TC?LDL?APO-B?hypertension were related to the level of betatrophin. Then we used betatrophin level as dependent variable, while the EF ?TC?LDL?APO-B?gensini score as the independent variables, carrying on multipe linear regression analysis.Patients with triple vessel disease have higher gensini scores and betatrophin levels than those patients who have single or double vessel disease. And patients with double vessel disease have higher Gensini score than those with single vessel diease.Among all ACS group subujects, betatrophin levels were negatively correlated with EF(r=-0.352,P<0.01).But betatrophin levels were positively correlated with different vessel diease(r=0.510,P<0.01)?Gensini score(r=0.619,<0.01)?TC(r=0.271,P < 0.05)? LDL(r=0.255,P < 0.05)? APOB(r=0.266,P <0.05),hypertension(r=0.260,P<0.05).The result of multiple linear regression showed that Gensini scores(?=0.441,P=0.000)?APOB(?=0.244,P=0.012)and different vessel diease(?=0.322,P=0.004)were independent factors to betatrophin level. Conclusions:Betatrophin level were significantly higher in the ACS group.Betatrophin and Gensini scores have a significant positive correlation.People who had more severe coronary artery disease had higher level of betatrophin.Betatrophin level may be a new predictor of severity of coronary artery disease.
