The Correlation Studies Between TCM-ID And IIEF-5 Based On The Collaboration Medical Research Platform Of Impotence Disease

Objective To explore the correlation between TCM syndrome integral scale of impotence disease(TCM-ID)and international index of erectile function-5(ⅡEF-5).Methods To build the item selection of TCM-ID by evidence-based method of distribution investigation,crowns Bach coefficient,the Delphi expert consultation.However,with collecting data by the collaboration medical research platform of impotence disease,We elected 198 cases of impotence patients to evaluate TCM-ID,ⅡEF-5 and general epidemiological information from January 2015 to December 2015 in our hospital,and use statistical methods to analyze the correlation.Result The TCM-ID was initially built including main and second symptoms with the total of 12 items.The internal correlation comparisons of TCM-ID shows that primary symptom,the total score,mental state dimensions were highly positive correlated with TCM-ID scores(P<0.01).Erectile function,systemic symptom dimension score and meant a moderate positive correlation(P<0.01).The each factor associated with TCM-ID compared with IIEF-5 showed both total score are lower correlated(r = 0.367,P<0.01).TCM-ID primary symptom scores are negatively correlated with ⅡEF-5 scores(r=0.456,P<0.01),while TCM-ID and ⅡEF-5 meant poor correlation(r = 0.182,P>0.182).Eectile function status of TCM-ID dimension score and ⅡEF-5 score is moderate negative correlation(r = 0.513,P<0.01),and the dimension score of state of mind,systemic symptom of TCM-ID has poor IIEF-5 total correlation(P<0.05);Patients with mild erectile dysfunction scores between the two scales are low negative correlation(r =0.325,P<0.01),medium and severe erectile dysfunction in patients with poor correlation between total score(P>0.05).Conclusion TCM-ID has a certain relevance with ⅡEF-5 which has a very good applio-ability and scientific reaction for impotence disease syndromes.It is worth popularizing in clinical application research.
