Studies On Facial Skin Aging Parameters In Women Of Beijing Han Nationality And Their Correlation With Skin Types

Objective:To obtain the facial skin aging parameters of different age groups of Han nationality women in Beijing area,then investigate the correlation between the quantitative data and age,and compare the parameters of different parts to see whether there are differences(Part ?).To investigate whether the subjects' skin type(Baumann skin type)has correlation with physical parameters of facial skin(Part ?).Methods:160(age 21-60y,10 years as one age group,each group has 40 subjects)healthy female subjects of Han nationality in Beijing area was admitted to our study.We used Antera 3D to take photos of these subjects in forehead,left periorbital,left cheek and nose area.Quantitative detection of wrinkles,pores,skin texture,hemoglobin and melanin,and then compare whether-there are differences of these parameters between different age groups and different parts of the same age group(Part I).The Baumann skin type questionnaire was done to obtain the subjects' skin type in 120 subjects that aged 21-50 years,and then discuss whether the four aspects of the Baumann skin type(oily/dry,sensitivity/tolerance,non pigmented/pigmented,wrinkles/compactness)have any correlation with parameters of the pore,the hemoglobin,the melanin and the skin texture(Part ?).Results:The wrinkles,pores,texture and the average level of melanin of each part increased with age.And the melanin variability(left periorbital,),the average level of hemoglobin(left periorbital,left cheek),the hemoglobin variability(forehead,left periorbital)also increases with age(P<0.05).In the same age group of subjects,the texture of the periorbital is heavier than that of the cheek in 41-50y group;pore density and pore volume of the nose area are greater than that of the forehead;the average level of melanin is greater than that of the cheek;the average level of hemoglobin of the cheek is greater than that of the forehead in 31-60y group;hemoglobin variability of the cheek is greater than that of the forehead and the periorbital(Part ?).The four aspects of the Baumann skin type have no correlation with parameters of the pore,the hemoglobin,the melanin and the skin;texture(Part ?)(P>0.05).Conclusion:The aging of facial skin was increased with age,and there was no correlation between Baumann skin type and the skin physical parameters.
