Objective: To analyse and research the content of NO's effect in knee osteoarthritis when using different low concentrations of ozone combined with sodium hyaluronate and try to find out the optimal concentration of ozone. Methods: 60 knees in the second affiliated hospital of the Guilin Medical University diagnosed as knee osteoarthritis during July 2015 to Dec 2016 were randomly divided into 3 groups of 20 knees each.More specifically,Group A received 15?g/ml×10ml ozone combined with 25 mg sodium hyaluronate injections,Group B received 25?g/ml×10ml ozone combined with 25 mg sodium hyaluronate injections, while group C only received 25 mg sodium hyaluronate injection, the knee joints were injected once a week for 5 weeks. The VAS score and the content of NO in joint fluid of all participants were both measured and analyzed statistically before and after the experiment. Results: The VAS score and the content of NO in joint fluid of all groups decreased after the treatment, there was significant difference(P<0.01)than before treatment;the VAS score and the content of NO in joint fluid of group B are(2.15±1.01)points and(41.24±20.53)?mol/l respectively, which has a dramatic decline compared with others and difference were statistically significant(P<0.05);excellent rates of three groups were more than 50% and clinical effects of three groups are good, there was no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusions: Compared with injecting sodium hyaluronate only,Ozone combined with sodium hyaluronate can remarkably decrease the point of the VAS score and the content of NO in joint fluid, and the optimal concentration of ozone was shown to be 25?g/ml.
