Objective: To Observe the effect of sodium hyaluronate to the concent ofnitric oxide in synovial of rabbit osteoarthritis. To explore its mechanismof action for the treatment of osteoarthritis. And provide the basis forclinical treatment of osteoarthritis.Methods:30New Zealand white rabbits with regular articular cavityinjection of0.1ml volume fraction is0.4%papain solution, and let themfree to make osteoarthritis model, and randomly devided into threegroup,10in each group, Don’t deal with in model group, inject0.1mlsaline solution every3days a time into the knee joint of Control group,inject0.1ml sodium hyaluronate every3days a time into the knee jointof The treatment group, After2months, Observe the general sample andpathologic morphology. Extract the synovial fluid and use elisa to measure the content of nitric oxide, And Extract its cartilage to Observethe pathological morphological changes. Results: The content of Nitric oxide in synovial significantly decreasedin treatment group than the model group and the control group (P <0.05),there was no significant difference in model group and the controlgroup(P>0.05),general sample and pathological shows lightly cartilagedamage than the model group and the control group. Conclusions: Intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronatecan reducethe content of nitric oxide in osteoarthritis joint fluid, and reduce thedamage to the cartilage, protect the cartilage cells.
