The Effect Of Shuanghuang Xiaocuo Pill On The Hair Follicle Area And The Cortical Gland In The Model Of The Rabbit Ear Acne

Objective:To investigate the contributory factors of Shuanghuang Xiaocuo Pill on the anti-keratinous effect,to improve the sebaceous glands,and to provide experimental evidences for the clinical treatment of acne.Methods:Forty-eight New Zealand male rabbits were randomly divided into 6 groups:the high,the middle and the low dose groups,the positive control group,the model control group and the blank control group.Except the blank control group,the other groups were established the rabbit-ear-acne models.The dosage of the high,middle and low groups were1.68 g / kg,0.84 g / kg,0.42 g / kg,the positive control group(tanshinone capsules)was0.187 g / kg,the blank group and the model group were given the same volume of the 0.9%sodium chloride solutions,at the rate of once a day,for 14 days.After 20 hours of the last administration,20 ml of air was injected into the ear of the rabbits to kill them.And then fastened with a diameter 1 cm punch at the right ears.The tissues were fixed with 10%formalin,paraffin-embedded,And the histopathological changes were observed under the light microscope.The area of hair follicles,the number of sebaceous glands and the diameter of sebaceous glands were recorded.Results:1,Shuanghuang Xiaocao Pill groups and Tanshinone Capsule control group can narrow the diameter of sebaceous glands of rabbit ear acne model,and Shuanghuang Xiaocuo pill high dose group is better than low-dose group(P <0.01);2,The number of sebaceous glands in acne vulgaris was significantly increased,and the number of levels tended to the normal(P <0.05).3,Shuanghuang Xiaocuo pill high dose group had significant effect on the area of hair follicle model,which could significantly reduce the area of proliferative hair follicles(P<0.01).Couclusion:Shuanghuang Xiaocuo pill has the effect of increasing the number of sebaceous glands,reducing the diameter of the sebaceous glands and the area of the hair follicles,that is,Shuanghuang Xiaocuo pill has the effect of improving the sebaceous glands and anti-keratosis.
