Diagnosis And Surgical Treatment Of Insulinoma(With 26 Cases Of Insulinoma Diagnosis And Treatment)

Objective:To summarize the surgical treatment of insulinoma and provide reference for clinical individual therapy.Methods:The clinical materials of 26 cases of insulinoma which definite diagnosis by pathology,laboratory examination and clinical manifestations in the first affiliated hospital of kunming medical university during September 2009 to October 2009 were analysed retrospectively.Results:In 26 patients,the diameter of 24 cases tumors were less than or equal to 2cm and accounted for 92.3%,the diameter of 2cases tumors were greater than 2cm;Preoperative tumor by ultrasonography,CT and MRI on positioning positive rate was 46.15%(12/26),81.82%(18/22),92.00%(23/25);8 cases tumor were located in the head of pancreas(2 in the uncinate process of pancreas)18 in the body and tail;Duodenum-preserving resection of pancreatic head(DPRPH)was performed in 2patients,medial pancreatectomy in 2 patients,distal pancreatectomy with spleen preservation in 10 patients,enucleation of tumor in 12 patients.Conclusion:The insulinoma derected by CT and MRI were significantly higher than ultrasonography,and the union of the CT and MRI,may improve the detection rate.Surgical resection of insulinoma is the preferred treatment in the present and individual operation is the key to improve patient benefits...
