Extraction Of Total Saponins From Stem And Leaf Of Panax Ginseng And Preparation Of Its Tablets

Objective: To optimize the extraction process and separation and purification of saponins from Panax ginseng,and study the traditional Chinese medicine preparations which used to improve the body immunity and ease the body fatigue.At the same time,study its preparation process and quality standards to exploit a new Health Care Preparations-Saponin tablets of stem and leaf of Panax Ginseng.Methods:Optimization of extraction process of stem and leaf of American ginseng by response surface methodology,Using macroporous resin to optimize the Purification Conditions of Stem and Leaf of Panax Ginseng.and,Using the traditional wet granulation process with Microcrystalline cellulose,soluble starch through Orthoonal--test to obtain the best molding process for Tablet.The ginsenosides were identified by thin layer chromatograph,and established the HPLC method for the determination of ginsenoside Re in the preparation.To evaluate the quality of the tablet.Results and Conclusion: In this study,a new dosage form with low energy consumption,good effect,stable nature and convenient transportation was established by reusing the stem and leaf of American ginseng.The extraction,separation and purification of the total saponins of American ginseng stems and leaves and the molding process of the tablets were optimized.The appearance of the obtained tablets is good,the drug content is stable and the quality conforms to the Chinese Pharmacopoeia standard,The quality control method of Panax quinquefolium saponins tablets was established.
