Objective: Detect the hs-CRP?NT-proBNP and the plasma potassium level of the chronic heart failure patients with reduced ejection fraction and explore their rel evancies.Then explore the clinical value of plasma hs-CRP,NT-proBNP and hypok alemia in patients with chronic heart failure.Methods: All patients were collected from the department of cardiovascular me dicine of Shandong Hospital of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine.There ar e 60 patients with chronic heart failure and 30 patients without heart failure duringt he same period.Then separate into three groups according to the patients' basic in formations and the New York Heart Association(NYHA)standard.A group for th e heart functions with III-IV level,B group for the heart functions with II leveland normal group for normal heart functions.Every patients' LVEF was less than 50%both in group A and group B.Each group contains 30 cases and then analyze the ir indexes through the statistics software SPSS l7.0.Results:1.LVEF and hypokalemia levels in group A and group B are lower t han the normal control group(P<0.01)while hs-CRP and NT-proBNP levels are hig her than normal control group(P<0.01).LVEF and hypokalemia levels in group A are lower than group B(P<0.01)while hs-CRP and NT-proBNP levels are higher th an group B(P<0.01).2.There is a significant positive correlation between NT-pro BNP and hs-CRP(r=0.47,P=0.00),a negative correlation between hypokalemi a and hs-CRP(r=-0.49,P=0.00),a negative correlation between hypokalemia and NT-proBNP(r=-0.63,P=0.00),a negative correlation between NT-proBNP and LVEF(r=-0.90,P=0.00),a negative correlation between hs-CRP and LVEF(r=-0.51,P=0.00)and a significant positive correlation between hypokalemia and LVEF(r=0.75,P=0.00).Conclusions:1.Hs-CRP,NT-proBNP and hypokalemia influence the occurrenc e and development of CHF.The levels of NT-proBNP and hs-CRP in patients with CHF were higher than the normal while the level of hypokalemia and LVEF were lower than the normal.Besides,this trend is more significant with a severe heart f ailure.2.There is a significant negative correlation between LVEF value and NT-pr oBNP level and hs-CRP level,however a positive correlation with hypokalemia.3.Detections of NT-proBNP,hs-CRP,hypokalemia and LVEF value can improve the evaluation of cardiac function in patients with CHF and thus play an important role in its early prognosis and treatment.
