Abstract/Summary:
Objective: To investigate the relationship between preoperative CT findings and the expression level of CD34,GPC-3,HSP70 in cancer tissues, the pathologic grading and the prognosis of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma. Methods: A total of 62 cases which was pathologically proved of hepatocellular carcinoma by the Department of pathology of Affiliated Hospital of Youjiang Medical College for Nationalities from July 2013 to August 2015 were enrolled in this study, all cases were undergoing CT scan and 3 phase enhanced scanning before surgical resection, all patients had complete follow-up data,follow-up to August 1,2016.The expression levels of CD34,GPC-3 and HSP70 in cancer tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry.By comparing the preoperative CT findings with the expression level of CD34,GPC-3,HSP70 and the pathological grading of postoperative cancer tissue, the survival time of patients,to analysis the statistical relationship. Results: In this study, the CT findings of tumor size, intrarumoral hemorrhag e or necrosis, vascular enhancement in arterial phase was correlated with the expression level of CD34(P<0.05);The CT findings of tumor size, vascular enhancement in arterial phase and blood supply type was correlated with the expression level of GPC-3(P<0.05);The expression level of HSP70 in different tumor blood supply types existence difference(P<0.05);the size, margin, tumor hemorrhage or necrosis of HCC are correlated with the pathological differentiation(P<0.05);the poor pathological differentiation always with high expression of GPC-3 and HSP70 in hepatocellular carcinoma tissue. The patients with a metastasis CT fin ding or low pathological grading shows a significantly lower average survival time than without metastasis or high pathological grading group(15.4 months vs28.2 months,24.2 months vs27.2 months),the difference is statistically significant(P< 0.05);although the survival time of patients with fuzzy edge is lower than those with a distinct edge(20.4 mouths vs28.5 months),the survival time of patients with tumor hemorrhage or necrosis is lower than those without hemorrhage necrosis(24.1 mouths VS31 months),but the difference is not statistically significant. Conclusion: CT findings of hepatocellular carcinoma can indicate the expres sion of CD34,GPC-3,HSP70 and liver pathological differentiation in a certain extent, the protein expression level of CD34,GPC-3,HSP70 is correlated with the hepatocellular carcinoma pathological grading.CT findings of HCC can indicate the pathological grading of HCC;The patients with a metastasis CT fin ding or low pathological grading indicate a poor prognosis.
