Objective:To detect the expression level of STAT1,SMAD1,OSM,c-JUN and IRF9 in the lesions of patients with psoriasis vulgaris in Xinjiang region. Methods:Using Envision immunohistochemical method to detect the expression of STAT1,SMAD1,OSM,c-JUN and IRF9 in the lesions of 54 patients with psoriasis vulgaris and normal skin of 28 healthy control in Xinjiang region respectively. Results:The level of STAT1 in lesions was 83.33%,which was higher than those in the normal skin(7.14%),expressing in the full-thickness,and differences were statistically significant(? 2=43.752,P<0.01).The expression of OSM in Xinjiang psoriasis vulgaris patients lesions was 79.93%,which was higher than in the normal skin(50.00%),expressing in the full-thickness,and differences were significant(? 2=7.638,P<0.01).And that of c-JUN and IRF9 was 11.11% and 1.85%,which was higher than those in the normal skin(0 and 0),with insignificance(P>0.05).Conclusion:The level of STAT1 and OSM was higher than those in the normal skin, and may contribute to the inflammatory response in paoriasis vulgaris via JAK/STAT signaling pathway. However, the level of c-JUN and IRF9,which was insignificant between lesion and the normal skin, may don't function an important role in the pathogenesis of psoriasis vulgaris in Xinjiang region.
