Clinical Research Combined PKP With New Yougui Pill For Treating Kidney Yang Deficiency Of Osteoporotic Vertebral Compression Fracture

Objective: In this research,kidney yang deficiency of osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture(OVCF)patients were treated by percutaneous kyphoplasty(PKP)and new yougui pill.Methods: Collect the inpatients with OVCF in Affiliated Hospital of Gansu University of Chinese Medicine from January 2015 to October 2016,According to the diagnostic select patients with a total 72 cases.They were randomly divided into treatment group and control group in medical order,36 cases in each group.The two groups were treated by unilateral approach PKP,and followed up for 3 months.The treatment group in the postoperative 24 h after treated with new yougui pill,and treatment for one months.VAS scores,ODI scores,the height of vertebral restoration,Cobb degrees,total score of symptoms and signs of traditional Chinese Medicine were compared to evaluate the two groups before and after the operation in different time periods of 24 hours,one week and one month.Results :1.The two groups before and after treatment the VAS score were significantly improved,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),the control group than the treatment group;After 1 weeks of treatment in two group pain score no difference after treatment for 1 mouth and 3 months between the two groups,the difference was statistically significant,showed that after PKP can relieve pain,taking New yougui pill after 1 mouth pain relief in the treatment group than the control group.2.Comparative analysis of the 1 week,1month,3 months,the ODI score before and after treatment,each time point after operation compared with the preoperative,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),The difference was statistically significant between the two groups after 1 mouth and 3 months.statistics show that The treatment group was better than the control group in functional recovery.3.There was no significant difference between the two groups in the recovery of vertebral height and Cobb angle in the treatment group after the treatment(P < 0.05),The results showed that PKP could restore the height of injured vertebrae and improve the kyphosis deformity.There was a significant difference between the groups in the recovery of vertebral body height after treatment 3 months(P < 0.05),the treatment group had the advantage of maintaining the height of vertebral.4.The two groups of TCM symptoms and signs,There was no significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).The total score of TCM symptoms and signs in the treatment group was better than that in the control group after treatment for 1 mouth and 3 months,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).It shows that New yougui pill can improve the kidney yang deficiency type osteoporosis.Conclusion: PKP can relieve the symptoms of osteoporotic compression fractures pain pushed to a great extent,part of the restoration of vertebral height,improve kyphosis,and postoperative oral with new yougui pill,effectively improve the symptoms of kidney yang deficiency,improve the quality of life,reduce the loss of anterior vertebral height.
