The Identification Study About Lycii Fructus And So On Chinese Medicines' Micro-morphology

Objective: Traditional Chinese medicines have many differences in character because of different cultivar and different place of origin,some traditional Chinese medicines are easier to distinguish,Some traditional Chinese medicines more difficult to distinguish directly with the eyes,so we need to use stereomicroscope and other equipments and use micro-morphology identification method,then we can easy to distinguish the Chinese medicines.The word of micro-macroscopically was first proposed by Professor Jianli Zhou,it is a identification method between Characteristics and Microscopic Characteristics,it uses computer,stereomicroscope,Biological Microscope and others instrument to observe the surface texture,color and appurtenance of Chinese herbal medicine,and then compare and identify different sources of Chinese herbal medicines.This method is simple and inexpensive,so it is very suitable for basic units.This study observes and research Lycii fructus and so on Chinese medicines from different cultivar and different place of origin by Micro-macroscopically identification method,and to sum up the characteristic and rules,in order to achieve the purpose of to identify the authenticity and origin of traditional Chinese medicine fast and accurate.Method:1 This study main identify three kinds of the same cultivar of traditional Chinese medicines coming form different places of origin,including Lycii Fructus from Solanaceae,Persicae Semen from Rosaceae and Armeniacae Semen Amarum from Rosaceae;and identify two kinds of different cultivar of traditional Chinese medicines coming form different places,including Perillae Fructus from Labiatae and its adulterants,Plantaginis Semem from Plantaginaceae and its adulterants.This study observes,shoots and comparison experimental traditional Chinese medicines by Micro-macroscopically.In the end we sum their micro-morphological identification characteristics.2 This study analyzes traditional Chinese medicines coming form the different place of origin by mathematical statistics,we analyzes the number of seeds from Lycii Fructus from Solanaceae,and analyzes the length of Persicae Semen and Armeniacae Semen Amarum from Rosaceae,in order to obtain the data which the most suitable for pharmacopoeia.Results:1 This study obtains the photos of traditional Chinese medicines' micro characters,summarizes the micro-macroscopically identification characters,and we work the Activator index about micro-morphology;2 This study obtains the results about Mathematical Statistics,it shows that the seeds quantity of Lycii Fructus coming from different places of origin different;the lengths of Persicae Semen coming from different cultivar and different places of origin different;the lengths of Armeniacae Semen Amarum coming from different cultivar and different places of origin different.Conclusion:1 The subject of this research can not only be used for identifying authenticity of traditional Chinese medicine,but also be used identifying places of origin of traditional Chinese medicine,it offers scientific basis for the identification of the Famous-region drug.2 Micro-Morphological Identification provides a new way and thinking for identification.
