Use New Rib Plate Internal Fixation Method On Rabbit Model Of Flail Chest:the Effects About The Research On Respiratory Function

Objective: To explore the effect about respiratory function when use new rib plate deal with flail chest,the rabbit as the subjects used in this experiment.To evaluate the feasibility of the new rib plate fixed treatment.Methods : Thirty New Zealand white rabbits were divided into three groups,make flail chest animal models,the first group was the flail chest model control group;the second group was the chest compression bandage fixation group;the third group was the new rib plate internal fixation group.Using biological signal acquisition system records abnormal chest wall motion signals and respiratory function index,collection arterial blood for blood gas analysis,collection blood plasma for plasma inflammatory factors.The animals were sacrificed at 1 months after operation.The specimens were observed and evaluated the the ribs healing condition.Abnormal breathing exercise was observed.Analysis the influence about new rib plate internal fixation method on respiratory function and physiology,and analysis the healing condition about rib fracture.Results:The surgeries were successful.New rib plate fixation surgery can eliminate flail chest chest wall abnormal breathing exercises.Statistical results show that RR,Vt,Raw,CL,PaCO2,PaO2,SaO2,BE,exist differences between groups.The third group after dealing with the new rib plate,the RR,Raw,PaCO2,BE showed a trend of fall back,gradually returns to normal levels.Vt,CL,PaO2,SaO2 showed a trend of go up,gradually returns to normal levels.The fracture good heal within the expected.Conclusions:1 Using new rib plate surgery minimally invasive internal fixation treatment of flail chest can eliminates the chest wall abnormal breathingexercises,improve the respiratory function;2 New rib plate can effectively fixed flail chest,gain good fracture healing within the expected.3 New rib plate internal fixation treatment achieved satisfactory effect,was the foundation of Video-assisted thoracoscope minimally invasive approach for the treatment of flail chest in the future.
