Objective: Pulse is an important means of diagnosis in both Tibetan and Chinese traditional medicine; It is also an essential joint research. In the classic Tibetan Medicince Book<Sman dpyad zla pavi rgyal bo> and < dpal ldan rgyud bzi > has recorded the detailed method of pulse. The earliest existing record in traditional Chinese medicine is in <Huang di nei jing>,<Mo jing>,which the both has systematic theory and effective clinical practice. Therefore,in the Chinese medical history, pulse is like a shining pearl in the medical world.Comparative research about pulse treatment in Chinese and Tibetan Traditional Medicine has great value in documentation,as well as it provides an opportunity to view the shortcomings, therefore to better contribute for the health improvement of human beings.Regarding diagnose process of pulse, the traditional Chinese medicine and Tibetan medicine has different recognitions toward " tshon "," kan "," chag ",finger under the induction of the viscera(??),Pulse-taking positions,Time of pulse, finger pressure This is also the core purpose of this study. In this paper, the difference is analyzed from three aspects: 1.Compare the similarities and differences between Tibetan and Chinese Traditional Medicine include pulse treatment include analysis of the meaning, discuss the relationship;2.In chronological order, study how the masters have revised and improved the theoretical system of Tibetan Traditional Medicine;3.By discussing their respective theoretical system to sort out their unique characteristics.Meanwhile,to analyze the great values of Chinese traditional medicine about patient's dress in <???? Wang family's Medical Record> and possible application to Tibetan Traditional Medicine therefore to analyze the methods of pulse and its value in Tibetan traditional medicine,to promote the theoretical system and its practical application. Methods: This article mainly adopts the literature research and comparison method. Conclusion: There are two systems of medicine pulse exist, the difference between them are due to different cultural background and regional features, therefore the variations are common in the ways: Both systems of pulse cognition is basic similar, yet Tibetan medicine applies "five elements" theory to illustrate the main cause of formation, which is not existed in the traditional Chinese medicine. The classification of the Tibetan pulse includes artery, vein and nerve, which are correctly in line with the classification of modern medicine, clearly classified and has profound research about it.But traditional Chinese medicine uses meridians and collaterals for pulse recogination, which is commonly called the meridian system.Tibetan traditional medicine also classify the method of pulse as "male left, female right" that is quite different from Chinese traditional medicine's.view.The former argues that according to the Tibetan medicine<zhab mo nang don Gyi rtsha > There is a hole in heart, which woman's is slightly toward the right while man's slightly towards the left,Which proved to be consistent as the findings of famous Tibetan medicine scientist Tamdzin Pentsok who proves that "male left female right" point of view. This is also a special feature of Tibetan pulse method. While the latter thinks first diagnosis "male left female right" view that is according to the principle of Yin and Yang theory of traditional Chinese medicine. However, there is no difference between men and women in contemporary pulse recognition. In the Tibetan pulse " tshon "," kan "," chag " Three word is refers to the index finger, middle finger, ring finger belly,Measure from wrist downto the first horizontal stripes by the middle finger is the(tshon gang),the measure for two inches by the the index finger is the(tshon);between the index and ring fingers is the(kan). These three words in Tibetan pastoral areas are very commonly used in daily life. The traditional Chinese medicine classifies the veins as three inches include " Cun "," Guan "," Chi " also as three parts to refers patient's pulse. As the saying goes,"development is the first point",Tibetan theory of pulse conforms to the development law of the history.Eg Tibetan method of pulse location measure by the finger has been existed for long time. The earliest record could be found in the < Sman dpyad zla pavi rgyal bo > and in gradual deep illustration in the < dpal ldan rgyud bzi >.The three locations of pulse are determined by gently touch of the skin gently for “ Tshon," kan " moderate pressing of muscles and “chag "heavy pressure in to the bone surface, three fingers measures in a gradual step.Master Melha innovated the three pulses as sunken pulse, empty pulse and floating pulse for different pulse condition for diagnosis. After Xi Re Ni Ma Hua and Ju Mi Pang the< dpal ldan rgyud bzi > the essence of their secret of glycine in heavy location, the location method for further elaboration have also stated about the pulse.Shi Jia Lubsang Tenpa Chopel has summarized the above methods as "Knowing correctly the condition and quantity of pulse will not destruct any pulse treatment, changes in method won't cause mistakes",which formed the genuine method of pulse. This has enriched the study and made great contribution in the field of traditional Chinese medicine.
