Objective:To investigate and analyze the nutritional status and multimorbidity of the elderly patients in a hospital, and to explore the effect of nutrition intervention on the elderly patients with common diseases.Methods:1 We selected elderly inpatients from August 1,2014 to September 30,2015 in a grade 3 and first-class hospital as the object of study to analyze the nutritional risk of elderly patients with multimorbidity2 The selected elderly patients with multimorbidity are divided into two groups according to the NRS2002 score, one is with the risk of nutritional risk and another is without the nutritional risk.We did statistical analysis on the human body parameters and blood test indicators,CCI score, age modified cumulative illness score to analyze the relationship between nutritional status and multimorbidity in hospitalized elderly patients.3 A 2-week-nutritional intervention for the elderly patients with nutritional risk to evaluate the effect of nutritional intervention on elderly patients with multimorbidity.Results:1 the incidence of nutritional risk in elderly patients with comorbid diseases was higher than that in single disease group(P<0.05).2 Comparison of the human body parameters: the difference between the two groups of patients in the age, body mass index, hand grip strength, upper arm circumference were statistically significant(P<0.05)while in height, weight and other items were not statistically significant(P>0.05).3 Comparison of biochemical indicators showed that: the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05)in albumin, prealbumin while other indicators has no significant difference(P>0.05).4 When we devide the multimorbidity patients into groups according to whether has nutritional risk, there were significant differences in the distribution of disease between the two groups(P<0.05).5 There was a significant correlation between the number of multimorbidity and the nutritional status of the elderly.6 Modified Cumulative Illness Rating Scale-Geriatric is a risk factor for nutritional risk in elderly patients with multimorbidity(P<0.05).7 We gave intervention to elderly patients with multimorbidity of nutritional risk and compared the human body index, biochemical index of patients before and after treatment,we find that the lower multimorbidity scores before and after the intervention in patients has statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusions:1 The age and NRS2002 score of the emultimorbidity group was lower than that of the elderly single disease group, while the BMI,hand grip strength, upper arm circumference, albumin and prealbumin in the elderly group were lower than those in the single disease group.2 There was a significant correlation between nutritional status and multimorbidity in the elderly patients.3 Modified Cumulative Illness Rating Scale-Geriatric is an independent factor of the nutritional risk of patients.4 The prevalence of elderly patients affected the results of nutritional intervention.
