Purpose To investigate the correlation between gallbladder wall thickness and biochemical indicators, the ascites and gallbladder wall thickness,with/without bilateral sign and gallbladder wall thickness, gallbladder wall thickness and Liver function classification, gallbladder wall thickness and ascites,to investigate the application value of gall-bladder wall thickness in liver function classification by analyzing the relationship between ascites, double border signs by ultrasonic examination, biochemical assay and gall-bladder wall thickness in patients with hepatitis Bcirrhosis. Methods Gall-bladder wall thickness, ascites and double border signs on patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis were observed by ultrasound examination, and relative biochemical assay was acquired in a week to analyze the relationship between them. The differences of biochemical assay were also compared between the groups based on with/without the ascites, gallbladder wall double bonders and liver function classification. Finally,ROC curves were drawn to analyze their cutoff value. Results The negative correlations were found in 151 patients with hepatitis cirrhosis between the gall-bladder wall thickness and total protein,albumin,prealbumin(p<0.001,p=0.007,p=0.001).The statistically differences of gall-bladder wall thickness in total protein, albumin, prealbumin, total bilirubin, direct bilirubin, indirect bilirubin, glutamic oxalacetic transaminase, glutamic oxalacetic transaminase and total bile acid were found between patients with/without accites(p=0.003,p<0.001,p<0.001,p=0.021,p,=0.05,p=0.001,p=0.031,p=0.012,p=0.001),and the statistically differences of gall-bladder wall thickness in total protein and albumin were foung between patients with/without two border sign. The statistically differences of gall-bladder wall thickness between patients in groups of child-pugh grades A,B and C(F=11.208,p<0.001).The cutoff value of gall-bladder wall thickness in ascites, double border signs and Child-Pugh liver function classification A?B + C were 0.59 cm,0.58 cm and 0.62 cm respectively. Conclusion Our study based on ultrasonic measurement of hepatitis b cirrhosis patients with gallbladder wall thickness and ascites,"bilateral" sign, biochemical indexes, liver function grade, the comparative analysis between the gallbladder wall thickness and the correlation of hepatitis b patients with cirrhosis and biochemical, ascites, and the relationship between the gallbladder wall thickness,if the gallbladder wall thickening is "bilateral" and the relationship between the gallbladder wall thickness and grade of the gallbladder wall thickness and liver function, the relationship between the relationship between the thickness of gallbladder and ascites.Significance Gallbladder wall thickness in the prompt significance of liver function classification, and comprehensive evaluation of hepatitis b cirrhosis patients with gallbladder wall thickness application value in the evaluation of liver function.
