Objective: By comparing orthognathic surgery effect with computer software simulation and the real operation result,we can evaluate the consistency of the size,[CAD/CAI(Computer Aided Design and Inspection)]both test operation results, and the consistency of preoperative design scheme. Methods: We select 12 patients with congenital jaw bone deformity.Three-dimensional CT is imported in Mimics 16.0(Materialise company,Belgium)software with Dicom format. We reconstruct three-dimensional facial and mark point, and then conduct three-dimensional cephalometric analysis;we simulate surgery in three-dimensional facial-skull digital model, and then obtain measure data.Patients take three-dimensional CT in three months after surgery. After that,we import the data to Mimics 16.0 and reconstruct three-dimensional facial and mark point. Finally,we conduct three-dimensional cephalometric analysis. The difference among twelve groups' data were compared and analyzed. The data were analyzed by SPSS 20.0 software according to statistics method. Results: Ten data have no significant differences, while two of them have significant difference. Conclusions:The 12 cases received Lefort I osteotomy,BSSRO,and genioplasty. After three months,All cases were performed maxillofacial reconstructionwith 3D CT.The results show that the operational effects were very satisfactory and highly consistent with the preoperative design.
