Cervical cancer is one of the most common gynecological malignancies.Recently, magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)is widely used in clinical medicine because of its high resolution against soft tissues with intuitive images, with no invasiveness or ionizing radiation.Diffusion weighted imaging(DWI)has been developed recently and become a routine imaging protocol to evaluate malignancies because it can be simply adopted on most current MRI scanners without any additional new equipment and intravenous contrast agents. Here we summarized its potential in helping staging cervical cancer, clinical application for predicting and assess ing patients' response to treatment. |
