Background: ileal ulcer is a common disease of the digestive tract, generally considered to be due to autoimmune disorders, leading to the intestinal wall of blood vessels and muscle spasm, reduce the occurrence of intestinal wall cells nutrition and intestinal mucosa barrier resistance, resulting in intestinal mucosa susceptible to digestive juice and ulcer, some people think that is due to Campylobacter infection. The incidence of the disease is increasing year by year, due to the patient’s habits, seasonal changes and other factors are likely to cause recurrent ulcer of the terminal ileum.Long term clinical findings, the site of the onset of occult, early onset, clinical symptoms and signs are often not obvious,so early diagnosis is difficult. Therefore, through the comprehensive analysis of the endoscopic and pathological characteristics of the terminal ileum ulcer,we can make an early diagnosis of the disease, reduce the mental burden of patients and save medical resources. Objective: to analyze the May 2012-2016 year in April in our hospital underwent colonoscopy and the diagnosis of ulcer in the terminal ileum of patients through the system, understand the characteristics of the terminal ileum ulcer ulcer incidence rate, age distribution, sex ratio and endoscopic, increase awareness of the ileal ulcerative lesions. Methods: collected in our hospital underwent colonoscopy and the diagnosis of ileal ulcer disease in 106 cases. The gender, age, endoscopic findings and histopathological findings were recorded, and the results were compared and analyzed. Results: The total number of patients was 7452,the diagnosis of terminal ileum ulcer lesions in patients with a total of 106 cases, accounting for the total number of inspection of 1.4%.Male 59 cases, accounting for the total number of inspection of55.7%,female in 47 cases, accounting for the total number of inspection of 44.3%.Including 4 cases aged 10-19 years accounted for 3.8% of the total number of 20-29years;6 cases, accounted for 5.7% of the total number of 30-39 years;24 cases, accounted for 22.6% of the total number of 40-49 years;22 cases, accounted for20.7% of the total number of 50-59 years;21 cases, accounted for 19.8% of the total number of 60-69 years;19 cases, the total number of the 17.9% year old 70-79;in 7cases,accounting for 6.6% of the total number of >80 years;3 cases, accounting for2.8% of the total number.Under the microscope: ulcer number: 55 cases of multiple ulcers,51 cases with solitary ulcer;the ulcer morphology: 71 cases of circular ulcer, irregular ulcer in 13 cases,8 cases of aphthous ulcer, ulcer of huge tumor in 7 cases, longitudinally fissured ulcers: 5 cases,2 cases of ulcer like map the following conditions: simple;ulcer in 36 cases,22 cases of ileocecal inflammation,16 cases with polyps,14 cases of follicular hyperplasia,8 cases of colitis,4 patients with proctitis,3 cases of ileocecal diverticulum,2 cases with colonic diverticulum,1 cases of postoperative colorectal cancer.Histopathological examination results: 88 cases of chronic nonspecific inflammation;6 cases of ulcerative colitis;3 cases of colon carcinoma;3 cases of intestinal tuberculosis;high grade intraepithelial neoplasia in 2cases;low grade intraepithelial neoplasia in 1 cases;1 cases of Crohn’s disease;1cases of T cell lymphoma;1 cases of Behr Chet syndrome. Conclusion: The ileal ulcer incidence rate is relatively low, about 1.4%,good hair at30-60 year olds, male and female incidence rate has no obvious difference;round ulcer microscope with single or multiple comparison found, histopathological results for mucosa of chronic inflammation, the prognosis is good, there are few colon cancer, malignant in addition, lymphoma and other malignant diseases;ileal ulcer lesions can be solitary, can also be associated with other disease manifestations. To sum up,the electronic endoscope technology has become the preferred method for clinical diagnosis of intestinal diseases in China 14.But there is still a considerable part of ileal ulcer difficult to a clear diagnosis,we should combine with the clinical manifestations, endoscopic findings and pathological results were comprehensively analysed 15,make the correct diagnosis.
