Objectives:A survey of pediatric medical staffs’ basic situation,health status,health related behaviors,social supports and work feelings,form three grade third general hospitals(A,B,and C hospital)and one children’s Hospital(D hospital)in Taiyuan,were to analyze affecting factors of work feelings(interpersonal relationship at work,feeling of control at work,the improvement of personal ability at work,the pressure at work),and to further provide suggestions and countermeasures to improve the working feelings and the status of the pediatric medical staffs.Methods:1.Literature analysis method:search on the literature of medical staffs pressure,occupation burnout,job satisfaction,mental health status and work status,classify,analysis and summarize the relevant medical staff feeling literature,and learn the present research of medical staff feeling,grasp the present research trends on the medical staffs feeling.2.Questionnaire: There were the fourth national health service survey scale,European quality of life-5 dimensions(EQ-5D scale)and social support scale(SSRS),combined with the actual design view scale social demographic scale,work related issues questionnaire.A total of 188 pediatric medical staffs were involved in the investigation to understand their basic situation,health status,health related behaviors,social support,work status and work feelings,so as to analyze the factors related to pediatric medical staffs work feelings.Results:1.The working feelings among pediatric staffs in dimensionality: Interpersonal relationship at work---Bad: 146 persons(77.7%),Good: 42 persons(22.3%);Feeling of control at work---Bad: 140 persons(74.5%),Good: 48 persons(25.5%);The improvement of personal ability at work---Low: 32 persons(17.0%),High: 156 persons(83.0%);The pressure at work---Low: 35 persons(18.6%),High: 153 persons(81.4%).The average score is 64.755±6.219.The minimum is 50 points and the maximum is 79 points.The score among 50-69 means bad feelings(137 persons,72.9%)and among 70-79 means good feelings(51 persons,27.1%).2.The factors affecting the international relationship among pediatric staffs are self health condition,degree of anxiety or depression,frequency of drinking in a week,frequency of physical exercises in a week,quality of sleeping,degree of score in objective support,and degree of score in supportive utilization.The factors affecting feeling of control at work are age,position of administration,working age and daily activities in major,and degree of score in supportive utilization.The factors affecting improvement of personal ability at work are age,score of perceived health,ill with disease or chronic disease or not,and degree of score in social supports(objective support,subjective support and supportive utilization).The factors affecting pressure at work are self health condition,physical pains or degree of uncomfortable,degree of anxiety or depression,frequency of physical exercises in a week,quality of sleeping,and degree of score in supportive utilization.Conclusions:The interpersonal relationship is negative at work among pediatric staffs in Taiyuan.The feeling of control at work is also needed to improve.Although the self score has positive effects on improvement of personal ability among pediatric staffs,it also needs to pay more attention on that.The management or relevant departments needs to pay more attention on working pressure among pediatric staffs.In a word,the feeling at work is not good among pediatric staffs.It needs to pay more attention and apply variety of methods to improve the feeling at work among pediatric staffs.
