It is the essential basis for microbubble-based quantitative imaging, detection of early vascular disease, and ultrasound microbubble targeting therapy to explore the acoustic response of the microbubble in the microvessel under ultrasonic field, the qualitative and quantitative interaction between the microbubble oscillation and the vessel, blood flow. The lumped-parameter model was applied to investigate the acoustic response of the microbubble in the microvessel under ultrasonic excitation. The COMSOL Multiphysics software was applied for building and simulating,so as to reveal the relationship between the microbubble oscillation and the ultrasonic excitation, size of microvessel, elasticity of the wall, and blood flow. The experimental results were achieved:(1)With the increase of the pressure of the excitation ultrasound, the amplitude of the microbubble oscillation increased, while the frequency decreased;(2)With the increase of the length of the microvessel, the amplitude of the microbubble oscillation decreased, while the frequency increased, and vice versa.Whereas, the radius of the microvessel had the contrary effects on the microbubble oscillation;(3)With the increase of the polytropic exponent of the gas,the stress of the wall, deformation degree of the microvessel, and the maximum velocity of the mircobubble oscillation decreased, while its frequency increased;(4)With the increase of the viscosity of blood, the amplitude, the frequency, the maximum velocity of the microbubble oscillation and the stress of the wall increased. The prepared emulsion crosslinking method was adopted to assembled the perfluoropentane onto the surface chitosan microbubble, and the change of the microbubble size were observed and analyzed. The swelling of chitosan microbubble was observed and verified, and the simulation and animal experiments proved that the chitosan microbubble could be effectively applied to enhance the contrast in the ultrasound contrast imaging technology.
