Study On The Factors Related To The Outpatient Appointment Registration In Maternal And Child Health Hospital

Objective: Under the background of the New Medical Reform,to provide a continuous,safe,effective and convenient service for the patient through increasing the appointment registration in outpatient department,optimizing the progress of diagnosis and treatment,improving the medical experience of patients,is more and more important in the goal of government public health executors.The object of this article is to explore the potential way to improve the outpatient appointment registration and to satisfy the demands of patients in maternal and child health care institutions.Methods: By using a questionnaire,this investigation was performed in patients with a hospital outpatient appointment registration.All relevant information and data were collected and input,by EPIDATA.chi-square test and other statistical analysis were running by SPSS21.0 software.The factors related to the operation and the problems needed to be solved in the outpatient appointment registration system were discussed.A independent semi structured interview between with each patient and doctor was carrying out in different departments.Some problems,such as missing appointment,long waiting time and the medical experience,any suggestions may improving the outpatient appointment registration was discussed personally.Results: Most patients support the outpatient appointment registration.By studying the different census register,the outpatient appointment registration is related with the factors as followed: occupation,education,region,mobile Internet usage.on.Every methods of the outpatient appointment registration have two coin sides and need different facilities to support.Women,children patients choose different methods in outpatient appointment registration,because of the diseases,the registration time and the rates of missing appointment are different.The patients using different appointment methods have different attitude to the restriction of the missing appointment.The waiting time is too long after the outpatient appointment registration and the time visit doctor is too short.The patients have the more satisfaction with the senior doctors.Suggestion: To improve the outpatient appointment registration,the health provider should be strengthen the conduct propaganda and promotion,optimize clinic service system,provide convenience in clinic,set up patient service center and so on.Increase the available source in outpatient appointment registration and adjust the expert's service time distribution.Reduced the waiting time of patients and extend the visit time with doctor.Explore the role of “internet+” and medical social workers to promote medical service,relyingon medical union rational shunt patients in order to fully embodies the idea of human centered service.
