Clinical Experience With Composite Resin Indirectly Repairing Defect Posterior Teeth

Objectives:To observe the short-term clinical effect of permanent teeth caries or large teeth defect with indirect composite resin inlay,overlay,endocrown.Methods:30 permanent teeth caries and large teeth defect clinical cases were collected and revealed five typical cases.Two reviewers evaluate and follow upthe clinical effect of different types of inlay using refined USPHS.Results:A application of composite inlay/onlay/endocrown in the restoration of decayed teeth could effectively repair permanent teeth caries to the extend to subgingivaland large teeth defect with good anatomical morphology,excellent teeth proximal contact,occlusion relation etc.The short-term follow-up with these cases show ideal clinical effect.Conclusions: Composite resin inlay/onlay/endocrown is an effective and rapid a pproach to repair permanent teeth caries and large teeth defect.
