Hippotherapy,with the horse as a therapeutic tool,is a kind of rehabilitation treatment for the body and psychology of patients with cerebral palsy through the change of horse's gait and the change of horse's pelvic and the interaction between horse and human body.However,although the current clinical trials have found that the treatment of patients is effective,there is no scientific evidence to prove the effect.At the same time,the research of the curative effect of hippotherapy belongs to the qualitative analysis,lacking of the actual data and accurate measurement results.Therefore,it is necessary to make a real-time monitoring platform to provide scientific basis for hippotherapy.In this paper,I design the human riding action monitoring platform,which is used to collect the data of the patient's posture and the movement data of the horse.The monitoring platform provides the data base for the research of the curative effect of hippotherapy.The monitoring platform is composed of three parts: twelve data acquisition nodes,two data receiving nodes and a software.In the aspect of hardware design,the hardware circuit of data acquisition node is composed of power module,sensor module,microprocessor module and wireless module.The hardware circuit of data receiving node is composed of power module,USB communication module,microprocessor module and wireless module.In the aspect of software design,the main functions of embedded software include sensor data acquisition,packaging,wireless communication,USB data communication,etc.The main functions of PC software include serial communication,data conversion,display and storage.Through the coordination of hardware and software,the whole platform can realize the real-time acquisition and storage of three axis angular velocity,the three axis acceleration and the three axis magnetic force data,which is convenient for further data analysis and algorithm research.Finally,I tested the performance of the monitoring platform.In this paper,three experiments are designed: packet loss rate test,cycling test and riding test.Packet loss rate test verifies the applicability of the monitoring platform.Cycling test verifies the effect of data of the monitoring platform.Riding test verifies the usefulness of the monitoring platform.
