Objective: In the present study,we evaluated the relation of renal function of the diabetic patients with serum level of BMP-7.Methods: This study was conducted in Health Examination Center and Endocrinology Department of Hebei Province General Hospital from Match to September,2016.Eventually,there were 45 health controls and 156 patients of T2 DM enrolled in the study.Written informed consents were obtained from them.Peripheral venous blood samples were collected consent was from all participants.Serum was obtained by centrifugation at 3,000 rpm for 10 mins.Blood glucose,blood lipids and other parameters were analyzed by automatic biochemical analyzer.Thyroid hormones and thyroid stimulating hormone were detected by electrochemical luminescence method.Glycosylated hemoglobin was detected by high performance liquid chromatography.The albuminuria was detected by electrochemical immune luminescence.The GFR was detected by the Discovery NM/CT 670 SPECT/CT.The individuals were divided into three groups,namely,nonalbuminuria group(A),microalbuminuria group(B)and macroalbuminuria group(C).All statistical analysis were performed using SPSS 21.0 software.Results:1 The association of the baseline clinical characteristics between the control group and T2 DM group.There were no differences of age between both groups.Compared with the control group,the T2 DM group had larger BMI than the control group(P<0.01).The T2 DM group had higher levels of serum TG,APOB than the control group(P<0.05),whereas the levels of serum HDL-C was lower than the control group(P<0.01).There were no significant differences in the levels of TC,LDL-C,APOA1,AST,ALT,Cr and Uric between the both groups.2 The association of the baseline clinical characteristics of the diabetic subgroup.We divided the subjects into three groups according to the level of albuminuria.The results showed that there were no significant differences in serum levels of age,BMI,liver function,Uric,TC,TG,LDL-C,APOA1 and APOB.But the level of FBG and HDL-C in the group B were higher than the group A.3 The serum levels of BMP-7 between control and diabetic group.Compared with the control group,the level of BMP-7 was significantly lower in the diabetic group(P<0.05).4 The serum levels of BMP-7 between the diabetic subgroup.In the study,we detected the serum levels of BMP-7 between the different diabetic groups.The results showed that there was no significant differences between group A and group B(P=0.249).Compared to the group C,a significant increase of the levels of BMP-7 was observed in the group B and group C(P<0.01,and P<0.05,respectively).5 The serum levels of BMP-7 between the different GFR.We divided all diabetic patients into four groups across the GFR(G1: GFR?90.00ml/min,G2: 60.00?GFR<90.00ml/min,G3: 45.00?GFR<60.00 ml/min,G4: 30.00?GFR<45.00ml/min.Compared to the group G2,G3 and G4,the serum levels of BMP-7 was significantly higher in the group G1.Compared to the group G3 and group G4,the serum levels of BMP-7 was significantly higher than in the group G2.However,there was no significant difference between the group G3 and group G4(P=0.101).6 The correlation of albuminuria with related metabolic factors.Data from the study showed that the level of albuminuria was negatively correlated with GFR.Conversely,the level of albuminuria was positively correlated with BMI and Cr.The level of albuminuria was no associated with age,FBG,HbA1 c,Uric,blood lipid and liver function.7 The correlation of BMP-7 with related metabolic factors.The result showed that serum BMP-7 was positively correlated with GFR.However,serum BMP-7 was negatively correlated with age,BMI,APOB and Cr.Meanwhile,serum BMP-7 was no associated with FBG,HbA1 c,Uric,TC,LDL-C and liver function.8 The correlation of albuminuria and BMP-7 in group A with GFR.The result indicated that serum BMP-7 was positively correlated with GFR in the group A,while,there were no correlation between albuminuria and GFR.Conclusion:1.Renal functions could be assessed by the level of albuminuria and BMP-7.2.Compared with the level of albuminuria,there was a closed relation between the level of BMP-7 and GFR.Meanwhile,the level of BMP-7 would reflect the kidney damage in the type 2 diabetic patients with nonalbuminuria.
