The Study Of Interleukin-31 And Its Soluble Receptor SOSMR Expression Level In Serum Of Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective: This study was performed to detect the serum concentration of IL-31 and its soluble form of oncostatin M receptor,studying the change of levels of IL-31 and s OSMR in patients with rheumatoid arthritis during disease activity,and analyzing the relationships between disease activity,in order to further explore the pathogenesis of RA and to provide new ideas of treatment.Methods: The 43 cases of RA patients were divided into RA low,moderate and high activity groups according to the CDAI score.The serum concentrations of IL-31 and s OSMR of 43 cases of RA patients and 23 cases of controls were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay.Then we analyzad the correlation between serum level of IL-31,s OSMR and CDAI,ESR,CRP,RF,anti-CCP antibody in 43 cases of RA patients.Results: ?The levels of IL-31 in serum of RA patients[(53.463±1.984)pg/ml] was higher than that of healthy control[(27.476±2.846)pg/ml](P<0.05).The expression levels of serum IL-31 in RA high activity group[(81.813±1.898)pg/ml] were higher than that in low activity group[(30.471±1.606)pg/ml] and moderate activity group[(47.047±1.764)pg/ml](both P<0.05).There was no statistical difference between the levels of serum s OSMR in RA patients[(0.357±0.112)ng/ml] and that in control[(0.325±0.065)ng/ml](P>0.05),and the levels of serum s OSMR in RA low activity group[(0.299±0.079)ng/ml],moderate activity group[(0.382±0.150)ng/ml] and high activity group[(0.362±0.068)ng/ml] were no statistical difference(all P>0.05).?The IL-31 were positively correlated with CDAI,CRP and RF levels(r= 0.379,r= 0.358,r= 0.532,all P<0.05),but not correlated with s OSMR and ACCP(all P>0.05).The s OSMR had no correlation with IL-31,CDAI,ESR,CRP,RF and ACCP(all P>0.05).Conclusions: IL-31 may be involved in the pathological and development process of RA and related to disease activity,as an indicator of RA disease activity assessment.
