Measurement of renal functional parameter is of great significance for early diagnosis and treatment of kidney disease.Nowadays,renal functional parameter measurement based on MR is a hot topic.MR images can provide important diagnostic information for physicians and high resolution images.Therefore,studying renal functional parameter measurement model based on dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI has great value to clinical diagnosis.In this paper,the optimization of the glomerular filtration rate measurement model based on dynamic-enhanced MRI is explored.The data were collected from general hospital of Tianjin Medical University.After thoughtful investigation of existing models,my research focuses on two-compartment models,namely,two-point based and fitting based model.The main contributions in this paper can be summed up in the following aspects:(1)Applied a segmentation method of vascular compartment based on voxel time intensity curve.Firstly,analyzed existing model problems and explained important role that kidney compartment segmentation plays in the model;secondly generated constructed images of kidney according to compartments characteristics based on intensity curve of each voxel;Finally,segmented the constructed images by three segmentation methods and analyzed the results,stated the rationality of segmenting compartment based on constructed image;(2)Proposed optimized renal functional parameter measurement models based on compartment segmentation of constructed images.My research studied the differential equations derivation of two-point based two-compartment model,next analyzed the problems of this model and proposed solutions and specific algorithm based on vascular compartment segmentation,experimental results showed that the optimized model has been improved than the original model.Besides,studied the differential equations derivation of fitting based two-compartment model,next analyzed the problems of this model,proposed solutions and specific algorithm based on tubular compartment segmentation,experimental results showed that the optimized model has been improved than the original model;(3)Analyzed two optimized models and the experimental results showed that fitting based model has a better performance than two-point based model on estimating GFR;(4)Improved the current software platform.Added project related algorithms according to doctor's demand.A visualization window was added by utilizing VTK for this platform lacking of visualization window.It achieves to provide more ways of displaying kidney image.
