Objective: To explore the effects and safety of intranasal dexmedetomidine with chloral hydrate for airenema in child intussusceptionMethods:80intussusception children,gender-neutral,ASA I,were randomly divided into 2 groups(n=40): oral chloral hydrate group(CH)and oral chloral hydrate with intranasaldexmedetomidine group(CH + Dex).To compare sedation evaluation and behavior evaluation, heart rate, pulse oxygen saturation, restoration time and restoration success rate.Result:The sedation evaluation and behavior evaluation of CH+Dex group was lower than CH group(p<0.05);the heart rate of CH+Dex group was lower than CH group(p<0.05);the restoration time of CH+Dex group was lower than CH group(p<0.05);the restoration success rate of CH+Dex group was higher than CH group(p<0.05);the pulse oxygen saturation has no difference between two groups(p>0.05).Conclusion: Theintranasal dexmedetomidine with oral chloral hydrate can produce more sedation and behavior than chloral hydrate for airenema in child intussusception, reduce heart rate and restoration time, improve restoration success rate, but not change the pulse oxygen saturation.
