The Study Of The Value Of Bile/Serum Mucin5AC In Diagnosis Of Cholangiocarcinoma

Objective: Comparing the difference of the expression of bile and serum Mucin5 AC between bile duct carcinoma and benign biliary tract disease,to explore theirs clinical application value in the diagnosis of cholangiocarcinoma.Methods: We collected the bile and serum samples from 20 patients with bile duct carcinoma and 20 patients with benign biliary tract diseases from October 2015 to October 2016 in digestive system department of Changzhou city first people's hospital,detecting the expression level of bile and serum Mucin5 AC with ELISA method,using statistical methods to analyze the differences of the expression in bile and serum Mucin5 AC between benign and malignant lesions group,analyzing of the correlation between its expression and clinical information,further exploring the related factors that affecting the prognosis of patients with cholangiocarcinoma.Results: The expression of bile Mucin5 AC quantity of 20 cases with bile duct carcinoma and 20 cases of bile duct benign lesions were respectively(5.57±5.27)ng/ml and(4.80±3.50)ng/ml,P > 0.05,the difference was not significant.The expression of serum Mucin5 AC quantity of 20 cases with bile duct carcinoma and 20 cases of bile duct benign lesions were respectively(6.09±2.14)ng/ml and(4.20±2.12)ng/ml,P < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant,further area under ROC curve: 0.755.When we got the critical value of 4.6010 ng/ml,the sensitivity of 90%,the specificity of 70%.In addition,there was a relationship between the expression of serum Mucin5 AC and serum alkaline phosphatase,total bilirubin,direct bilirubin and albumin(P<0.05),there was also a relationship with the prognosis of patients in total bilirubin and direct bilirubin(P<0.05).Conclusions: There is no differential effect of the expression of bile Mucin5 AC between bile duct benign and malignant lesions,however,the expression of Mucin5 AC in serum for the diagnosis of cholangiocarcinoma has some certain clinical significance,therefore serum Mucin5 AC is expected to become a tumor marker for cholangiocarcinoma.
