Study On Quality Standard For Zuogui Pills

Objective:To develop and establish the quality standard of Zuogui Pills according to the quality standard of traditional Chinese medicin.Methods:The physical and chemical identification of Cervi Cornus Colla and Testudinis Carapacis Et Plastri Colla in Zuogui pills was carried out.To establish an thin-layer chromatography(TLC)identification method of Rehmannia Radix Praeparata,Lycll Fructus,Cuscutae Semen and Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix in Zuogui Pills and to establish a method for the determination of content of Loganin,morroniside and Hyperin in Zuogui Pills by High Performance Liquid Chromatography(HPLC).Results:The identification of microscopic characteristics of rhizoma dioscoreae,rehmanniae radix praeparata,lycii fructus and semen cuscutae in Zuogui pills was studied.The TLC methods for the identification of rehmanniae radix praeparata and lycii fructus in Zuogui pills were established.Additionally,the determination method for morroniside and loganin in Zuogui pills was developed.The identification methods for microscopic characteristics and TLC could be performed simply with good specificity.The calibration curves were linear in the range of 0.08-0.80 ?g and 0.08-0.85 ?g for morroniside and loganin respectively.The mean recoveries of morroniside and loganin were 101.4%and 98.6%and RSDs were 0.6%and 2.0%.The simple and accurate methods for qualitative and quantitative detections of Zuogui pills can be used in the estimate and control for Zuogui pills quality.
