Objective :To evaluate the effect of cloud platform technology applied to health management of patients with hypertension.The blood pressure meter from Suzhou Well-Bridge Biological Technology Co.,Ltd was used to measure the patients' blood pressure,and the patient's blood pressure is automatically uploaded to the platform.The professional health care team and doctors from the community health service center timely provided health education consultation for patients,and monitor the compliance of behavior change of patients.In order to improve the awareness rate of related knowledge and control of blood pressure in hypertensive and to reduce the incidence of cardiovascular events and improve medical satisfaction.Methods: A randomized controlled trial was conducted and 408 patients with essential hypertension were randomly divided into 2 groups.There were 196 cases in the intervention group(cloud platform health management group)and 212 cases in the control group.On the basis of regular drug intervention,the intervention group used the cloud platform technology to monitor the blood pressure of patients.And the specialist medical team obtained blood pressure and pulse data simultaneously.If abnormal values were found,the specialist medical team would actively contact patients,and timely give personalized health consultation and medication guidance.Control group did not wear blood pressure real-time monitoring meter and didn't accept case intervention from cloud platform.After 1 years of follow-up,the blood pressure control,incidence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events,awareness of hypertension knowledge and patient satisfaction data were compared between the two groups.Results:(1)Systolic blood pressure post-intervention among the Cloud platform management group decreased 29±7 mm Hg than pre-management,while the control group systolic blood pressure management decreased by 3±8 mmHg.The difference between the two groups of the reduced blood pressure values was statistically significant.Diastolic blood pressure post-intervention decreased 12 ± 7 mmHg than pre-management among the Cloud platform management group,and the difference was 2 ± 5 mmHg before and after management among the control group.Difference of the reduced diastolic blood pressure between the two groups was statistically significant.(2)Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events in patients with hypertension:The intervention group had 4 cases of cerebrovascular events within 1 years,the incidence rate was 2.04%;the control group had 21 cases of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events,the incidence rate was 9.9%;the difference of incidence rate of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)Awareness of hypertension knowledge:The mean score of hypertension related knowledge post-management was not significantly different from pre-management among the control group(39±4vs.36±5,P=0.115),and among the cloud platform management group,the average score was significantly increased post-management than pre-management(86±3 vs.32±5,P=0.002).The score of among the invention group was higher than the control group(86±3 vs.36±5)after the management(P<0.001).(4)Comparison of patient satisfaction: After intervention,the average score of the intervention group was94±3,which was significantly higher than that before management(77±5),and the difference was statistically significant(P=0.013).The average score of the control group was 78±5 before the management and was 79±4after the management,the difference was not statistically significant(P=0.254).Conclusion:1.Compared with conventional blood pressure management,the management of health cloud platform is more effective in controlling blood pressure,lowering cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events,improving awareness of hypertension related knowledge and patients' satisfaction.2.Health cloud platform enables doctors or medical team to management remote patient timely,improve the treatment effect,and effectively improve the quality and speed of service for the patients.The application of this method will play an important role in improving management efficiency of hypertension and other chronic diseases.
