The Expression Of SPON2(Spondin2) Protein In Human Gastric Cancer And The Clinical Pathological

Objective:To detect the expression of SPON2 protein in GC tissues and adjacent normal tissues,and to elucidate the relationship between SPON2 protein expression and clinicopathological parameters of GC,To analyze the relationship between the espression of SPON2 and the prognosis of gastric.Methods:A total of 75 gastric cancer patients in The First People Hospital of Zhangjiagang City(Zhangjiagang,China)from January 2013 to July 2015 were collected from patients of gastric cancer.Patient's clinical datum is integated,chemotherapy and radiotherapy werenot performed before operation.The expression of SPON2 in 75 cases of gastric cancertissues were detected by immunohistochemisty.The relationship between clinical data and postoperative survival rate were analyzed by ststistical methods.Results:1.SPON2 protein positioning in the cell membrane,cytoplasm and extracellular matrix of gastric cancer cells.2.The positive expression rate of SPON2 in gastric cancer tissues and tissue adjacent to carcinoma was 72.0%(54/75)and 16.0%(12/75)respectively,and the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).The expression of SPON2 in gastric carcinoma was related to the diameter,degree of infiltration,lymph node metastasis and TNM stage(P<0.05).There is on related to the age,sex and differentiation degree(P>0.05).3.The 1-year and 3-year overall survival rate in the positive SPON2 group were 70%(21/30)and 16.67%(5/30),while 93.75%(15/16)and 62.50%(10/16)in the negative group,the log rank test statistics have signifiance,?2=3.967,P=0.047,(P < 0.05).These data indicated that SPON2 was negative correlated with the prognosis of GC.Conclusion:1.The expression of SPON2 in gastric carcinma was significantly higher than in theadjacent tissues,thus it can be seen that SPON2 was involved in the occurence of gastric cancer.2.The high expression of SPON2 in gastric carcinoma was closely related to the the diameter,degree of infiltration,lymph node metastasis and TNM stage.SPON2 may be an important marker for the metsdtasis and development of gastric cancer.3.The survival time that the high expression of SPON2 in gastric cancer was lower than low espression.SPON2 protein detection may become a new early diagnosis of gastric cancer clinical markers for judging tumor malignant degree,prognosis and outcome is of great significance.
