Comprehensive Analysis Of The Development Of A Affiliated Hospital Of Xinjiang Medical University(1937-2016)

Objective: With the retrospective study of the history of a Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University,according to its changing trend,and combinig with the historical background,the development of the hospital in different historical periods is described and analyzed,which provides the basis for the hospital’s future planning and development.Methods: Baesd on the actual situation of the Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University,read the relevant documents,and selected the relevant index analysis that suits the hospital’s comprehensive situation,used two Delphi method for two turns to screen the indexes,and then got the final index and conducted the specific analysis.Results: 1)To determine the analysis frame work and index system of the hospital’s comprehensive situation based on the hospital’s scale index,medical service index,teaching index,and scientific research index.The index system consists of 4 level-1 dimensions,9 level-2 dimensions and 33 level-3 dimensions.2)To analyze the screened index according to historical situation of the hospital,which is divided into four stages,and summarise the specific conditions of each index for each stage.3)The initial stage: the hospital began to take shape,the implemeting condition of works in different aspacts and the influncing factors.4)The adjustment stage: affected by the state policy,the hospital showed a good situation,infrastructure construction was increased,rapid progress was made in medical work,breakthroughs were made in scientific research and teaching level was improved.5)The development stage: divided into two periods.1985-1994,the hospital scale was enlarged,medical quality was affirmed by the community,scientific research work was repeatedly awarded by the bureau.1995-2004,the hospital worked as regular,but the scale,the number of patients,scientific research and other aspects of indicators showed slow growth with negative growth.6)The improvement stage: every work was running well,the hospital basic scale expanded,medical service was greatly improved,scientific research projects increased,and the teaching work was done normatively.Conclusion: With the analysis of the development of the hosptal in the scale construction,medical services,teaching situation,and scientific research at different times,to discuss the important reasons for the changes of the important works in the hospital before and after the system change,which provides the basis to improve the overall quality of the hospital.
