Objective:Analysis of phospholipid transfer protein(phospholipid transfer protein,PLTP)expression in degenerative intervertebral disc trends, research PLTP and correlation between degree of intervertebral disc degeneration, for preventing intervertebral disc degeneration and provide theoretical basis for biological treatment. Methods:The lumbar disc herniation or vertebral fractures underwent posterior open or minimally invasive surgical removal of the intervertebral disc nucleus pulposus in 32 cases as experimental group, the experimental group was divided into A,B,C,D four groups according to Pfirrmann classification. Methods 8 patients with scoliosis or fracture were treated with surgical resection of the nucleus pulposus without degeneration. All the patients were examined by MRI before operation. There was no history of tumor, infection, tuberculosis, diabetes and other chronic diseases. The expression levels of PLTP and IL-1? in each group were observed by Western Bolt technique. At the same time,PLTP content,IL-1? content and Videman score were used to analyze the correlation between the three data. Finally, the results were statistically analyzed with SPSS20.0 statistical software to determine the correlation between PLTP and lumbar disc degeneration. Results:Single factor analysis of variance showed that the PLTP/actin values in the 5 groups were: the normal group was 0.148±0.311,A group was 0.160 ±0.158,B group was 0.254± 0.066,C group was 0.366±0.466,D group was ±0.494.The normal group with B,C,D group,B group and C,D group,C group and D group were statistically significant difference(P<0.05).IL-1?/actin values were: the normal group was 0.262± 0.349,A group was 0.358± 0.238,B group was 0.472±0.414,C group was 0.590± 0.932,D group was±0.728.There was significant difference between the two groups in each group(P<0.05).With the degeneration of intervertebral disc tissue, the content of PLTP and IL-1 increased, and the content of PLTP was positively correlated with the content of IL-1(r=0.730,P<0.05).Conclusions:The expression of PLTP and IL-1? in normal and degenerative intervertebral discs were, and with the degree of intervertebral disc degeneration, the expression of PLTP and IL-1? were increased; There was a positive correlation between PLTP content and IL-1? in degenerated human intervertebral disc nucleus pulposus.
