The Influence Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment Of Strengthening Genuine Energy,Nourishing Yin And Reducing Phlegm On Serum Tumor Marker And Life Quality Of Older Patients With Late-stage NSCLC

Objective:As a feasibility study of conventional treatment medication,through the clinical observation of TCM as the foundation,through clinical observation,through observation of the influence of traditional Chinese Medicine treatment of strengthening genuine energy,nourishing Yin and reducing phlegm on serum tumor marker and life quality of elderly patients with NSCLC at late stage,this study aims to demonstrate the treatment of strengthening genuine energy nourishing yin to reduce phlegm is important and effective to elderly patients with advanced NSCLC.Methods:This study was carried out from March 2015 to August 2016.Sixty-four patients,who are over 60 years old and diagnosed as NSCLC according to histology and cytology in the respiratory department and the department of internal medicine of the Affiliated Hospital,were enrolled in the study.Basing on the actual condition and the wills of patients and their families,randomly divided them into 2 groups according to treatment methods,comparison group with conventional chemotherapy treatment and the other observation group of conventional chemotherapy combined with TCM prescription.After treatment,diagnose and research all patients' the remission rate,change of tumor,improvement the quality of life of cancer,toxicity and good in chemotherapy,and the tumor marker.Results:after 2 courses of treatment,TCM syndrome for patients of two groups was significantly improved,and for the observation group was markedly effective,excellent effective percentage and normal effective percentage is respectively 46.8%,46.8%,the total effective rate was 93.75%,significantly higher than the comparison group(P<0.05).Among two groups of patients with tumor targeted therapy,there is no complete remission cases overall.The treatment had remarkably effect.In the treatment results,the total effective rate of 43.75%for observation group of patients with tumor partial remission in 14 cases,compared with total effective rate of 34.37%for comparison group of 11 cases of partial remission,there were significant differences(P<0.05).Quality of life assessment after treatment of cancer patients compared with before treatment,quality of life scores,32 patients in the observation group,19 patients in improving the score range,12 patients were stable,only 1 patients score decreased.Compared with the comparison group increased,the corresponding number of patients to reduce the stabilizer,there were significant differences.For the two groups of patients before and after treatment,tumor markers had improved results for CEA and NSE.Comparing the differences between groups,the observation group had bigger value changes,significant difference(P<0.05),which means this group performed better than the other one for reduction of CEA and NSE.Conclusion:Treatment of combining conventional chemotherapy treatment with traditional Chinese medicine can effectively improve the quality of life of patients,effectively reduce clinical symptoms,improve the tumor chemotherapy sensitivity,also is significant effect to CEA,NSE tumor marker concentration.It is worthy to promote and apply on clinical treatment.However,in view of in this study,the small number of cases,a short course of treatment,it still needs further research and investigation of long time follow-up.
