Objective:To investigate the influence of quality of life and the clinical significance of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients with concurrent chemo radiotherapy. Methods:patients with 70 late stage NSCLC who diagnosed by pathology and chest CT scan were treated by the chest conformal radiotherapy and concurrent chemotherapy. The patients were evaluated and analysis by European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer's quality of Life Questionnaire-Core (EORTC QLQ-C30) before therapy, after radiotherapy (1 day) and after radiotherapy 1 month. Then we selected the influential factor of quality of life one day and one month after therapy. Result:The scores of QLQ were worse in body function, role function, emotion function, social function, total health, fatigue, vomiting, nausea, anorexia constipation, economical situation (P<0.05) before therapy and 1day after therapy. The scores of QLQ were better in pain (P<0.05). The scores of QLQ were better in body function, role function, emotion function, social function, total health, fatigue, vomiting, nausea, and constipation, pain (P <0.05) 1 day after therapy and 1month after therapy. The scores of QLQ were better in body function, social function, pain, dyspnea, (P<0.05) and the scores of QLQ were worse in economical situation (P<0.05) 1 month after therapy and before therapy. The mainly influential factors of QLQ were age, gender, nationality, culture level and near effects. Conclusion:the concurrent chemoradiotherapy can improve the near quality of life of NSCLC patients. The age, culture level, gender, near effect is the main influence of QLQ of NSCLC patients. |
