The Clinical Observation Of Electric Acupuncture For Upper Limb Spasticity After Stroke

Objective:To investigate the effective treatment of electric acupuncture on Du Channel for the spasticity of hemiplegic upper limbs after stroke.Methods:Select 60 patients with spasticity of hemiplegic upper limbs from the ward,witch conform to the diagnose of stroke by Western medical and Chinese medical,and divided them into two groups:treatment group(30cases)and contrast group(30 cases),two groups all accept the routine rehabilitation training and medical treatment,treatment group also combined with electric acupuncture of Du Channel :the main points are:Baihui(DU20),Fengfu(Du16),Dazhui(DU14),Taodao(DU13),Shendao(DU11),Zhiyang(DU19),Jinsuo(DU8),Xuanshu(DU5),Mingmen(DU4),Changqiang(DU1);contrast group adopt the routine acupuncture,matching points are Jianyu(LI15),Quchi(LI11),Shousanli(LI10),Waiguan(TB9),Hegu(LI14).Each group treatment once a day,except Sunday,the period of treatment is four weeks,and the Fugl-Meyer movement function score for upper limb,daily life activities ability modified Barthel index,Ashworth classification method(MAS),spasticity limbs methods of electric diagram root mean square value(root mean square,RMS)was measured before and four weeks later.Results:1 After four weeks treatment,the Fugl-Meyer movement function score for upper limb,daily life activities ability modified Barthel index all display an upper scores compared with before,meanwhile the outcome is statistically meaningful(p<0.05),and the treatment group is much better(p<0.05).2 After four weeks treatment,Ashworth classification method(MAS),spasticity limbs methods of electric diagram root mean square value(root mean square,RMS)all display an upper scores compared with before,meanwhile the outcome is stastistically meaningful(p<0.05),and the treatment group is much better(p<0.05).Conclusion:Electric acupuncture of Du Channel combined with routine treatment and common acupucture combined with routine treatment all can development the ability of daily life,the function of upper limb,lower the level of spasticity for stroke patients,but the Electric acupuncture of Du Channel display a significant outcome.
