Clinical Observation On Treating Children’ Allergenic Cough With Wind-Phlegm And Heat Syndrome By Eliminating Wind,Resolving Phlegm And Removing Heat

Objective:To Evaluate the effectiveness and the feasibility of Xiaofeng Phlegm with the heat with the treatment of children due to allergic cough wind Phlegm-damp-heat syndrome,so as to guide the clinical treatment.Method:This study screened 60 cases of children with allergic cough and Phlegm-damp-heat syndrome,who were diagnosed by Pediatric Clinic of Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.According to the random number table,they were divided into the treatment group and the control group.Among them,30 cases of the treatment group were used the traditional Chinese medicine decoction of dissipating phlegm and clearing heat.However,30 cases of the control group were used the cetirizine syrup.The two groups were treated for 2 courses and the one course was 7 days.During the treatment period,the main symptoms(number of coughs,degree,the duration of each cough)and the secondary symptoms(expectoration,nasal flow,Itch,throat itching,itchy skin,nasal itching,swelling of the throat,tongue,fingerprint or pulse)were quantified score.Points will be recorded using SPSS 18.0 software for statistical analysis.Results:In the treatment group,the cured,excellent,controlled,invalid cases are 12、12、4、2;and the control group are 8、7、10、5;Pass the inspection,the treatment group is better than the control group(P<0.05).Both groups can improve the main symptoms of children(P<0.05).And the treatment group is superior to the control group in improving the main symptoms(number of coughs,degree,shortness of breath)(P<0.05).Other than,the secondary symptoms to expectoration,nasal flow,Itch,throat itching,itchy skin,swelling of the throat,tongue,fingerprint or pulse of the study is different in the treatment group(P<0.05).And the control group is different in improving the secondary symptoms to Itch,throat itching,itchy skin(P<0.05).And the treatment group is superior to the control group in improving the secondary symptoms to expectoration,Itch,throat itching,itchy skin,swelling of the throat,tongue,fingerprint or pulse(P<0.05).After the treatment,no adverse reactions are observed in the treatment group,but the control group has one adverse case.Conclusion:The clinical effect of Xiaofeng phlegm and heat treatment of children with allergic cough Wind phlegm clip heat syndrome is better than the cetirizine syrup.
