| Objective:Retrospective investigation of 5 years of full-crown food impaction in the Department of Stomatology of the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University and the Prosthodontics Department of the Stomatological Hospital of Urumqi City,the purpose is to understand the basic characteristics of the disease and to explore the clinical relevant factors of the disease initially,Rehabilitation food impaction prevention and treatment to provide reference materials.Methods:The medical history data of the food impaction after crown restoration from the Department of Stomatology of the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University and the Department of Prosthodontics of the Stomatological Hospital of Urumqi was collected from October 2011 to October 2016.According to the established medical record exclusion criteria,excluded unqualified medical records,were included in the 328 example.Check and record the following information:age,gender,ethnicity.the tooth position of restoration,adjacent teeth with or without defects,with or without gingival recession,degree of wear,crown prosthesis material,morphology,etc.Retrospective analysis of clinical data.Results:In 328 cases of food impaction after full crown restoration,the average age was 53.28±4.60 years,and the peak age range was 40-59 years.The etiology constituted mainly periodontal tissue diseases,accounting for 16.3%;abutments or adjacent teeth loosened,accounting for 11.68%;and adjacent teeth adjacent caries,accounting for 11.07%,the average number of causes per person was 1.5.There were significant differences in the etiology of different age groups(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in etiology between different genders and ethnic groups(P>0.05).The number of food impaction in the crown after the restoration of the distribution of different numbers of inter dental space:impaction gap overall composition is relatively high for the lower left first molar and the second molar,accounting for 8.47%;lower right first molar and the second molar between,Accounting for 8%;upper left first molar and second molar,accounting for 8%;upper right first molar and second molar,accounting for 7.53%;lower left second premolar and first molar,accounting for 7.06%;lower right The first premolar and the first molar,accounting for 6.82%;the first right upper first molar and the first molar,accounting for 5.88%;the first left upper first molar and the first molar,accounting for 5.65%.Upper right side of the incisors and canines,as well as the lower left incisor and lateral incisors,the minimum number of interstices,were 0.94%.The three types of impaction in the mixed food impaction accounted for the highest proportion of 58.12%,followed by vertical food impaction,accounting for 25.18%,horizontal food impaction at least occurred,accounting for 16.71%.In the age group over the age of 60 the level of food-stuffing composition ratio increased significantly.The overall composition of food impaction type in each age group was significantly different(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the overall composition of impaction between different genders and different crowns(P<0.05).Conclusion:There was no significant difference in the composition ratio of males and females in food impaction after full crown restoration.There was more mandibular than upper jaw,and the posterior area was significantly more than the anterior area.The etiology is diverse and complex,and poor contact between the prosthesis and the adjacent teeth of the crown is closely related to the occurrence of food impaction.The case of food impaction after full crown repair occurred before the age of 60.With the increase of age,the number of etiological factors increased,and the number of etiological types decreased after age 60.The disease most often occurs between molars,followed by premolars and molars.The restoration of the whole crown is most common in the unilateral hybrid type and the vertical type,and the far-middle plane is more than the near-middle plane.There is a significant difference in the composition ratio of the impact type of each age group. |
