The Research Of The Cases Of Professor Zhou Zhongying Treating Chronic Gastritis Based On Data Mining

Objective:Through studying the clinical experiences and the characteristics of drug combination of Professor ZHOU Zhongying ’s treatment of chronic gastritis,this essay is expected to make an effort to the work of the experience inheritance of ZHOU Zhongying,who is the First Master of Chinese Medicine.Methods:The 243 cases of chronic gastritis within 977 clinical times,which were diagnosed and treated by Professor ZHOU Zhongying in the years of 1988 to 2015,were provided by the ZHOU Zhongying Studio of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine.The 231 cases which conform to diagnostic criteria are entered into Medcase V3.2 and are used to establish the medical records collection and storage database.It uses the methods like frequency analysis,association rules and clustering analysis to mine in the symptoms,pathogenesis,prescription and other contents of the medical records,to analysis and summarize the experiences from Professor ZHOU Zhongying’s clinical case.Results:As results shown,the main clinical symptoms of chronic gastritis are gastrectasia(54.55%),ructation(48.48%),stomachache(47.19%),thirst(27.27%),gastrofrigid(26.41%),gastropyretic(21.21%).For pathogenesis,the most important one is stagnation of the circulation of vital energy which can be caused by many factors,and the prime is dampness and heat resistance(44.16%),the followings are liver-stomach disharmony(30.74%),weakness of the stomach and stagnation of the circulation of vital energy(25.11%),consumption of both body fluid and Qi(23.38%).When coming to the medicines,coptis chinensis(74.89%),pinellia ternate(72.29%),rhizoma cyperi(60.17%),fructus aurantii(51.52%),ageratum(44.16%)and cyperus(43.72%)are used frequently,and the times of usage of all of them are more than 100.The categories of drugs are divided into two part:one is dispelling pathogenic factor,including regulating the flow of vital energy and removing obstruction toit(15.88%),heat-clearing and damp-drying drug(13.78%),resolving dampness(11.16%),the other is strengthening the body resistance,containing tonifying Qi and Yin(10.95%)and strengthening the spleen and replenishing Qi(7.11%).Professor ZHOU Zhongying often uses cold medicines and hot medicines equally and prefers to using amarum,sweet medicine and pungent drugs.Conclusions:The locations of disease are mainly in the spleen and stomach,relating to liver and gallbladder.The pathogenesis of chronic gastritis is hindrance of functional activities of qi in ZhongJiao and stomach Qi in disharmony,which can be divided into Qi stagnating in middle-JIAO,endoretention of damp heat,weakness of the spleen and the stomach,consumption of both body fluid and Qi and the cold and heat syndromes mix together.When treating chronic gastritis in clinic,the basic treatment is regulating the flow of vital energy and keeping ventilation and descending.It is encouraged to use the methods like clearing heat and removing dampness,dispersing stagnated liver Qi for regulating stomach,tonifying spleen Qi,tonifying Qi and Yin and treating the cold and heat syndromes together.Professor ZHOU Zhongying is expert in treating chronic gastritis in following ways:combined treatment with mini prescriptions,protect stomach-Yin carefully and softly,use light drugs and prefer anther,formula variation in accordance with signs and prefer using couplet medicines.
