| Objective This study is to investigate the therapeutic effect of bloodletting therapy combined with sequential therapy in the treatment of rosacea(erythema period). Methods During January 2017 to February 2018,sixty Patients diagnosed with rosacea(erythema period)at dermatology department of The First Hospital of Wuhan are divided randomly into two groups. The control group(30cases)is given Water oxygen therapy, yellow light and red light from a light-emitting diode(LED)therapy every week, and the observation is end of the fourth week. The treatment group(30cases)is given the same sequential therapy, which is treated with Water oxygen therapy, yellow light and red light from a light-emitting diode(LED)therapy every week.At the same time, the treatment group is given bloodletting therapy at the second week and the fourth week, and the observation is end of the fourth week. The course of treatment is 4 weeks. Two groups of patients are photographed to record the situation of their facial erythema before each treatment. The facial lesions and symptoms in both groups are scored and recorded before the first treatment and at one week after the last treatment. At the same time, the VISIA skin tester is used to check patients’ faces before the first treatment and at one week after the last treatment. The erythema values analyzed by the VISIA skin tester are recorded, and there is a statistical analysis to conduct these values. The results of the analysis are observed. Finally,to evaluate the therapeutic effect of bloodletting therapy combined with sequential therapy in the treatment of rosacea(erythema period).Result 1.The total effective rates of the treatment group and the control group were 86.67% and 63.33%.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The result showed that the curative effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group.2.After 4 weeks of treatment, the total scores of the facial lesions and symptoms in both groups were lower than those before treatment. The total score of the treatment group reduced from 7.57±2.85 to 4.73±1.95.And the total score of the control group decreased from 8.00±3.13 to 6.07±2.68.However,after the end of the treatment, there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups in the total scores of the facial lesions and symptoms(P<0.05).The treatment group was superior to the control group.3.After 4 weeks of treatment, the facial erythema scores of the two groups detected by the VISIA skin tester were lower than those before treatment. The facial erythema score of the treatment group decreased from 1.80±0.69 to 2.54±1.05.The facial erythema score of the control group decreased from 2.40±0.93 to 2.27±0.89.After the treatment, the difference was statistically significant in facial erythema between the two groups. The treatment group was better than the control group.(P <0.05)4.There were no obviously adverse events.Only the treatment group occasionally had slight pain and discomfort on the face after the bloodletting therapy. This phenomenon is short-lived and has no effect on the trial process. Conclusion: 1.The bloodletting therapy combined with sequential therapy in the treatment of rosacea(erythema period)can effectively improve the facial lesions and symptoms and the effect is better than the control group.2.The bloodletting therapy combined with sequential therapy in the treatment of rosacea(erythema period)have no obvious adverse reactions and is safe and effective. |
