Distribution And Correlation Between Impaired Glucose Tolerance And TCM Physique

Objective: The purpose of this study was to identify the TCM physique of the people with impaired glucose tolerance(impaired glucose),to conclude the types of TCM physique,and to understand the internal relationship between the constitution of TCM and the impaired glucose tolerance.To provide new ideas and experience for the prevention and treatment of IGT in the future.Methods:Selected from August 2016 to December 2017,the department of Endocrinology of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region Chinese Medicine Hospital met the diagnostic criteria of IGT,and analyzed and classified them according to the constitution standard of TCM,recorded the relevant data of the patients,recorded the height,weight,abdominal circumference.Body mass index(BMI),blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin were collected and analyzed by SPSS16.0 software.Results:(1)A total of 90 patients were included in this study.75 cases of simple constitution accounted for83.33 cases and 15 cases of complex type accounted for 16.67%.Therefore,this paper mainly analyzed and summarized the distribution of five dominant physique types and their correlation with the indexes of IGT population.(2)the main 5 cases of simple type IGT population.Types of TCM constitution:29 cases of phlegm dampness,11 cases of dampness and heat,10 cases of yin deficiency,9 cases of blood stasis,5 cases of Yang deficiency and 5cases of phlegm and dampness.The compound constitution contains phlegm and wet substance in 13 cases.7.9%,including dampness and heat in 5 cases,Qi deficiency in 5cases,Qi deficiency in 5 cases,yin deficiency in 4 cases in 26.7T,blood stasis in 2cases.(3)FBG among the five main physiques,fasting blood glucose(FPGV),2h postprandial blood glucose OGTT2 hPGN,glycosylated hemoglobin P>0.05,the difference is greater than0.05.There was no statistical significance.The BMI index of five kinds of constitution was:phlegm dampness>yang deficiency>blood stasis>dampness and heat>yin deficiency.he significant values of diastolic blood pressure in the five types of physique were lower than0.05 in comparison with those of Qi and Yu(P<0.05).Conclusions:(1)The main types of TCM constitution of impaired glucose tolerance population were simple type,75 cases(83.33%),followed by compound type(15 cases),accounting for 16.67 7 cases.(2)The dominant physical types of IGT were phlegm dampness > dampness heat > yin deficiency >blood stasis > yang deficiency.(3)The BMI of phlegm dampness quality is far beyond the normal adult standard.(4)the systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure index of blood stasis type were the highest among all physique types,suggesting that the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in patients with blood stasis was higher than that in other physiques.
