Background and Objective:Tibial eminence fractures are intra-articular fractures of the knee, and are the attachment points for the anterior cruciate ligament tibial attachment. If the fracture occurs,it will cause relaxation of the anterior cruciate ligament.Knee instability, due to its special nature, usually requires surgery. At present, surgical treatment advocates arthroscopic reduction and internal fixation(ARIF).Today, the fixation of fracture fragments is controversial. This article intends to study arthroscopic hollow screws and suture fixation of the two most commonly used surgical methods for comparison, for clinical arthroscopic minimally invasive treatment of tibial intercondylar eminence fracture surgery to provide a reference for the choice of surgical methods. Methods:The database of Pub Med,EMbase,Cochrane Library and Chinese databases CNKI,VIP and Wanfang databases were searched by computer. After selecting eligible documents and making methodological assessments, the data were compiled on Revman 5.3 analysis. Results:Through preliminary screening and reading abstracts,full-text screening,a total of 7 RCTs(randomized controlled trials),a total of 329 cases of knee joints meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The meta-analysis showed that the knee joint mobility and the Tegner score at the final follow-up were significantly smaller in the screw group than in the suture group. There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups [MD=-0.05,95% CI(-0.54,-0.10).),P = 0.004;MD =-4.81,95% CI(-5.58,-4.04),P <0.01].However,the two groups had Lysholm score [MD =-1,95% CI(-2.22,0.22),P = 0.11],Lachman test negative rate [RR = 1.02,95% CI(0.92,1.13),P = 0.72] and KT-1000 measured values [MD =-0.05,95% CI(-0.2,-0.09),P = 0.48] showed no significant difference in the results(P> 0.05).Conclusion:For the minimally invasive treatment of tibial intercondylar eminence fractures, arthroscopic suture fixation has more advantages than screw fixation. The knee joint mobility and postoperative Tegner score are higher in the short term(within 2 years)The literature and the number of cases included in this study are small and of low quality and may require higher quality studies to demonstrate this conclusion.
