| Objective: To investigate the relationship and predictive detection between the prognosis of nasal sinus malignant tumor with neutrophils and lymphocytes ratio(NLR)in the peripheral blood and the relationship between predictive detection.Method:Retrospective analysis of 78 case of nasal sinus malignant tumor in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University, analysis of the relationship between age, sex, occupation, ethnicity, pathological type,TNM,pretreatment NLR,and prognosis of patients.Drawing the receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)to calculate the critical value of NLR from data.Comparison of clinical factors between high NLR and low NLR groups before treatment, analysis of single-factor and influential risk factors for progression-free survival in patients revealed a relationship between its prognosis and pre-treatment NRL.Result: In 78 patients, there are 6 people lost during follow-up(Lost rate n=8.8%),die 5.Among the 72 patients cases, male patients accounted for 50 and female patients 22 cases. Before treatment low NLR groups:for 43 patients with NLR <4.66,Before treatment high NLR groups: for 29 patients with NLR≥4.66.To understand whether the progression-free survival(PFS)of nasal sinus malignant tumor patients with the differs between patients clinical factors, peripheral blood neutrophil to lymphocyte ratios. Then do univariate analysis is performed. The results show:Nasal sinus malignant tumor non-recurrence rate and there are significant differences between the recurrence or death rate, when people in different T,N,TNM and NLR(P<0.05).Using ROC curve to determine NLR=4.66 as the best cut-off value for the prognosis of nasal sinus malignant tumor. The non-recurrence rates of the low-NLR group(NLR<4.66)and pre-treatment high-NLR group(NLR≥4.66)were 50% and 8.33%,respectively.There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups in the non-recurrence rate and recurrence or death rate(P<0.05).Because the PFS of nasal sinus malignant tumor is often affected by many factors,Cox regression analysis has been performed on factors that have been identified in the univariate analysis and are significantly different from those of patients with tumors,it shows that TNM and NLR are the independent factors affecting the prognosis of cancer patients. Conclusion: TNM and NLR are independent risk factors that affect the prognosis of patients. The pre-treatment NLR may be a valuable biological indicator for evaluating the prognosis of malignant tumors of the nasal cavity and sinuses. |
